PES 2011 Discussion thread

When will Konami learn The Reason there game is so far behind fifa by 3 years is because of there Pro Sony stance.

You do have to admire Japanese Patriotism i think the west could learn a lot about the way they make, produce and buy products over there.

PS i do own both but it harms the game so much.
 
Is this for real....konami must be feeling bad about the xbox boys....quick PS3 folk throw your toys out and twitter Jon. lol

I love my country...seems we are getting PES on the 15/10/2010 or 29/10/2010. I am ordering it from the UK then....

That is without question the most absurd statement I have read on here in years. :LOL:

When it comes to understanding football and producing realistic AI, Konami have no peers.

Random Selection Match
Also new to PES6 is the Random Selection Match. In this mode, the user can pick either four clubs/nations or one region/league. Once selected, the computer picks a random selection of players from the teams or region for the player's squad. The lineup is selected automatically, although players can choose to let the computer to pick another random selection. This was not included in the Xbox 360 version, presumably because of time restrictions.

I forgot about this. I only played this round a friends who had a ps2 version of PES6, it was great. Why did nobody petition for this in pes 2011 :(

hmm guys for PES2011, will we be able to use option files to play online? or will some option files work online and some won't? how does this work really?

Ye well konami need deleiver us decent AI like they have promised this year. I want to play against good cpu.

the reason why pes suffered on next gen was that it was on xbox,it should have stayed sony exclusive

100% agree. The fact that they go multiplatform does not help at all the franchise...

It would have been a very wise decision by KONAMI and SONY.
With added money from SONY they should have made a yearly milk cow, which yearly sells far above the 1M mark by only it's name

With the development concentrating on one and the superior hardware could have resulted a dream football game...

Sounds awesome! "Played final code for 4 hours today, I am having serious trouble picking faults with it, will do a proper write up tomorrow but all I can say for you old pro-evo fans is this game is the one you wanted after PES5&6.".
 
We all want the same thing on here and that's a great PES/WE game unfortunately most ppl have blinkers on and accept anything konami does even when it clearly hurts the series.
 
Anybody knows if the EU PS3 version will be different to the UK one. If yes, will you be able to use the option files of the UK version for the EU version?

Same goes for fifa and just about every game out their my friend.

I run a fifa 10 bap club and some of our members thought PES MLO was awsome.

have faith in konami, They actually deliver the goods this time. dont forget 9/10 members in this forum have come from pro evo

i think the optionfiles will be different again this year for uk and euro pes2011 games

After playing the beta even, and factoring in all the improvements, i could see where he's coming from :COOL:

You Guys are Nuts don't you remember that The Xbox 360 came out a whole year before the PS3 and by the time Konami had waited to produce their first real next gen PES 2008 on the PS3.
EA were on their third installment with Fifa 08 with a brand new game engine now please explain how that helped us fans of PES when they could have done the same and we wouldnt be worried whether PES 2011 is the real deal or not.
Like i say 3 years behind because of their pro japanese stance
