:BORED:How pissed off am i right now, no pc version till the 15th (nice prediction Han).

Then to top it off 3 months ago my son had a choice between a 360 or ps3, after many attempts to get him to decide on the ps3 he decides in his wisdom to go 360 NOOOOOOO!!!! so no pes for me till the 15th and more importantly no PEEL either :(( Right where is that teenage dirtbag, arsekicking time methinks :MAD:

BTW @ JIMMY G did you try the disc fix for pes5?
 
Doesn't really bother me that much waiting til the 15th, but I do think Konami are missing a trick with pissing off Xbox users. No doubt about Fifa being shiny and available for Gold users...and if people only choose one to try they might also do the same for buying.

Trying to decide if I need to upgrade my gfx card for PC. Hrm.
 
One question, will this demo be available to plus PSN members in North America as well?

Or, will we have to create a separate European account to subscribe to PSN Plus and download the demo?

I think Jon Murphy said that that is up to Sony. If I'm not mistaken, PS+ are region-specific, so probably you'll only get the demo when it hits in the US, unless you want to create an European account and subscribe there.

However, for you to purchase one here, you either have to have a region Credit Card, or - easier - a region PSN Card.

I bought one online for the UK some months ago, to purchase Tales of Monkey Island, since it wasn't released in Portugal. They sent the scanned code to my e-mail within a couple of hours. It was tricky to read, the Ks looked like Xs, but after a couple of combinations I managed to get it to work, and I got 50 pounds worth of credit to spend there.

I cannot vouch for it being safe, I can only say that it worked for me. I bought it in cardscodes.com , but I'm sure you can get it in other places as well.

Like Paolo said, nothing sure yet. You can always wait for the 8th and check if it's on the American plus.
 
When do u think we will get the info about X360 demo? it depends on what? THERE IS WRITTEN SHORTLY, *** bastar**
 
Hi, I've been lurking around this thread even if haven't posted in a long long time.

Finally after 3 years of total indifference, PES is calling me again. I like what I see up to now, and even if I know that technologically it will be much inferior to Fifa, I really miss a lot of things that Fifa is not pulling out in a decent way.

Hey, there are lots and lots of things that Fifa does right, and now that I'm used to full manual everything I know that going back to PES will be a little fustrating at times (as it happened to me with pes 2010).

But maybe it's the year to have 2 good footy games, both good at what they try to replicate and both with obvious shortcomings. I know I will be a little upset with rails here and there and some other things (I will surely miss manual shooting), but hey, Konami has taken the right direction and I think they should be rewarded somehow if the game really is good.

I'm really expectant towards the PES demo and will subscribe to PSN+Plus to play next week. Besides, 10 minutes games is really a decent amount of time (compared to other footy demos) and I think finally PES has gone brave and can show something solid.

So, I'll be around this thread again and hope to enjoy the game for what it is. I tend to agree a lot with Romagnoli's views of both games so almost everything he posted can be entitled also as my own view of the game, though I couldn't manage to access the beta thus I won't be able to test online until the game comes out.

I'm not hyped at all, in fact this is maybe the year I'm less excited with footy games. It's the year Konami starts catching up seriously so I expect we have the same dilemma next year, with 2 even greater footys.

Nah, i'm buying a ps3 or getting one somehow. Need it for uni so i will kill 2 birds with one stone

need one which plays ps2 games!

anyone have a ps3 they can sell?

I will def be getting playstation plus for 3 months, didnt get on the beta so pretty desperate here. Just have to get my hands on this asap, 3$ a month isnt bad, can think of worse things to spend my cash on.

Seeing as many now joining plus for the pes demo only, I'd hate to see them disappointed.

I didnt have any Buzz so couldnt try it, thanks anyway. To be honest though, it's only 5 days away till the PES 2011 Demo, and I'm busy with work till then, so I'll just wait for the Holy Grail. :)

Nah, how can a 10 minutes demo, with 2 big teams (Barcelona and Bayern) and two smaller teams (Chivas Guadalajara and Internacional), plus 3 Stadiums (Konami, Camp Nou and Estadio Escorpio), with speed changer and full "tactics screen" included, possibly turn out to be bad?

Lami, there is more chance of me stealing the Pope's hat, than the demo being anything but mind-blowing. :LOL:

Only 5 more sleeps and I'll have my grubby mitts on it. :WOOT:
