PES 2011 Discussion thread

boy o boy ! This year fifa is dead for me. Pes11 demo..brig it on !lets celebrate the reincarnation of a true victor !Pes is back !

@ Jimmy: PSN+ costs £39.99 for a year or £11.99 for 90 days. It depends if you're willing to pay that to get the demo a day early. Not to go off topic but I'm struggling to see the benefits of PSN+.

Sounds like Personality + lots of hype and nothing else much.....
 
Their is a number of things for me that need addressing when playing the game offline. The form and players tirdeness.

The form is just random even though players have a high form. Needs fixing to be more consistant. After about 5 games of a league you have to rotate and from then on every game players stamina bar always drops. In real football that does not happen until the around the second half of the season. Good teams in each league seem to do rubbish. Chelsea and arsenal are 9th and 10th in my league. Thats down to the cpu choosing silly players for matches and down to them having to chop and change due to the messed up form and stamina. Hope konami get on this.

This is on pes 2010. I hope they improve this for pes 2011.

Frank lampard hardly misses a premiership game or a game for chelsea for that matter. High stamina and fitness.

Don't know if this is related but Catermole is in my ML team and he hardly misses a single game, unless sent off :LOL:
 
how long will konami take to process the beta data we give them this week? id say demo be middle of next week after they sift through all our info

Pes 11 that is online. Offline doing leagues and master league will be very different. Pes 2010 also. Konami may have sorted it out.

Why havent we had more info on the offline master league and other features yet?

The beta was just to test the master league online mode so the results of the feedback will have no bearing on the demo.

I'm in a bit of shock after watching that FIFA vs pes vid - FIFA looks embarrassingly poor. Not only does it not appear to accurately represent a real football match, it looks incredibly boring! Something doesn't seem quite right considering FIFA looks to be so much slower than pes - and I've been asking for FIFA to slow down - and yet pes looks the more realistic football sim.

The lack of freedom in movement and ball physics in pes is a bit jarring, but FIFA looks to me like it's in a bit of trouble.
 
Dunno about in trouble - it'll still outsell and probably outscore PES - but for the hardcore FIFA has compromised while PES has been far bolder. I still harbour concerns about the final build maintaining a fair amount of that exploitability we've seen in the beta, which is part of what makes FIFA such a hateful experience online. But even if that were the case you still have the Community setup for code of honour gaming and an offline experience that is extremely deep. It's a game for the hardcore, and I expect games journalism to reflect that to it's broad range of readers.
