It is, you need to go to the dashboard to get it, for some reason when going in extra content it won't show. Press Y for game details when on the My Xbox pane and go along to featured downloads and it is the first one.

Both FC Twente and Besiktas now have licensed kits. Not sure about new teams but the CL section has 25 now but most were already on the game just not in that section.

Teams in this years CL in real life that are not on the game are: Hapoel Tel Aviv, Schalke, Bursaspor, Zilina, Partizan. Unlicensed are Chelsea and Arsenal.

Hope KONAMI fix it really soon... kind of strange to see Ireland in an green De Graafschap kit... :CONFUSE:

But I'm really happy with the aspect that the DLC don't mess up with our OFs in general. Saves a lot of work!

someone asked whats :r1: for

its for the crossing system, think its called early cross

its like the cross type 4 - 5 in past pes titles
i did it the same way in 010 where it wasnt even there to set up but it worked, like it does now

hold :r1:, left stick is for the direction like far post etc. + high pass button
u can press it 1x 2x or 3x wich is the preset of the height but u can work with an interval too
the longer the interval between the first and the second push the lower the height of the cross

its similar w/o :r1: but the pass button is for the strenght/lenght of the cross unlike with :r1:
so basically with :r1: u can adjust the height better

oh i think he means :l1: sry, i swap them in pes so im referring to the player switching button/function

Jimmy is so right, the best football you can play with this game is with the Copa dos Libertadores teams. The type of football you can play is wonderful. This license makes perfect sense in PES.
 
Konami is still missing in the skin color of the players ...

To those who have applied the DLC already, do you just accept/overwrite data (i understand there is a prompt?) and all your previous editing remains intact? (kits/names etc).

Just started an ML with Hercules :)

Signed Aouate (GK from Deportivo), Arteta (from Everton), and Dani Guiza (from Fenerbahce), didn't think I'd get more than 1 of those players, so pretty chuffed :D

Sold Rufete to Club Brugge.

Had a crap start to the season though, playing on Top Player, 3 results so far:-

Sporting Gijon 4 - 1 Hercules (Trezeguet)
UD Almeria 0 - 1 Hercules (Haedo Valdez)
Hercules 0 - 1 Racing Santander

Not good :(

I'm still getting to grips with the game, it plays so much better on Top Player than Professional, I'm finally getting used to the passing and crossing too :)

Wondering if someone can help me out..... I've got an old TV and I'm not sure if the game should be played on 16:9 or 4:3? I play on PS3 and when I change the display settings, I find the game plays and feels totally different on each setting. However I can't decide which setting I prefer, so I was wondering if anyone knew which setting the game is 'supposed' to be played in, or indeed which setting was it made for - if that makes sense?
 
I have only uploaded my PES 2010 option file so far. I was hoping to wait for GoalGerd's patch, but as this may take a while before it's released, I was debating whether to install another whilst I wait. Any suggestions people ? Is everyone using the WENB one plus the update ? I really want a Championship patch for a full league.

I will download Neilez Chant patch, and I've read WENB are making a new Chant patch with silence breaks ? I'm off work tomorrow and plenty of time to add files, but if there isnt a complete one worth adding yet, I guess it will another day of MLO. I love my MLO boys. :)

Im just using that early WENB Option File that came out without any transfer updates, it just had emblems & kits?

Btw, I'm about tomorrow for some matches if u are?

The guys from Pesgaming are back making their championship OF on uk copies now. So there will be another OF out there at some point with the championship to go along with Gerd's .

At the moment I'm using WENB's of and the update with the international kits added. Combined with todays roster updates... it's enough to let me have fun on a stand alone league game and friendly matches.

nope the register player thing is still fucked,all players are defaulted back to their original state after an update , i tested it with sami hyypia i moved him to my created leverkusen, after the update he was back in the finland squad. same with kevin davies i put him in england squad and he wasnt there after the update

im having 2nd thoughts about continuing on with this file if konami keep resetting all my teams ive made and players registered, not a happy bunny:RANT:

I don't think he will be that long with his part of the option file, then it gets passed to me to work on the game play. It may be best to release the option file at the point where Goalgerd passes it to me as a beta so people arent waiting long and then release game play updates later.

I would imagine that I will be releasing updates as I complete each league after doing the major teams first.

Is there any areas that people think the game can be improved? I know one thing I will be working on is possession levels of the opposition and improving smaller teams so more teams give you a decent game. I have cracked the difficulty on the game already, I played against totenham with arsenal and beat them 3 - 0 on Professional, then made some changes to Totenham and got beat 5 - 1 without making totenham any easier a team to play with.

I normally look at improving the responsivness of the players, but this years game seems better in this department.

this game just has "IT" ..... I just played a game where I scored a very very rare type of goal that I've seen happen in real life 2-3 times.

Anyways, I was building up with Milan against Roma, and I sent an early cross with Pirlo to Pato with the ball curling towards the keeper. Pato beats his defender and dives for it, and when he dove, the keeper reacts to Pato. Problem is......Pato never made contact with the ball...pato and keeper go to the left....ball rolls ever so slowly to the right and into the net.

Things like this make you forget you're playing a video game.

ended up wining 2-1 agaisnt Roma ....

no one match feels the same, one game you clearly have the posession battle and its obvious the cpu is relying on the counter, the next game you and the cpu both try to play posession ball and you just get outposessed and it forces you to adjust.

The next game, you see the CPU try a lot of thru balls to their fast striker, you adjust and take it away. It really is a thinking man's game....Only if PES has fifa 11's overall look and animations.....I can dream right ?

The biggest problem in the game is the player switching.....it just doesn't feel natural....my only remedy is to not spam the player switch and use it sparingly where you know the switch won't mess up your defense. For example.....if the cpu just executed a thru ball trying to beat my last defender and it's NESTA....I let the cpu take care of the situation because more often than not, Nesta will cut it off due to his ratings. You can't do this in FIFA 11 because your team ai defense (nesta) will let the cpu get a hold of the ball....not so in PES 2011, your teammates will do a real good job helping you out.

I still player switch a lot, but by using this method, I've pretty much eliminated cpu chances due to my boneheaded player switching mistakes.

I also want to comment on how this game really rewards Catenaccio defending ( in other words...all out defending and counter-striking like the old fashioned italy teams, or Inter of last year haha).....I played a game last night between Everton and Tottenham.....and after i scored a gol with Everton in the 40th minute....I changed my formation and attacking arrow to al out defense, and I held on for the 1-0 win with only 1 or 2 major threats from the spurs. Everything tacticaly feels just right in this game....

u shud see it tbh, like are players stretched out or some symbols look weird etc.

yes, and this is the problem wich i had 010 all the time !
its better with 011 but still not good
