I would prefer adding 'absolute free movement' for the receiving player after triangle and triangle + L1 button triggered. In pes 1. 2011, sometimes by hold R2 the player can deattach from his running rail sometimes not. Its okay if this absolute free movement must be triggered by pushing button like R2.

2. In addition, it should be more challenging if the "off the ball" running animation has "at least" slow running, jogging, and sprint by using increments in L3 stick. so far its only obvious when with the ball. For example its nicer if we know that our through pass will be cut. Hence when can release R2 sprint button and just slow running instead. also as dekkard said in other thread Animation transition/blend shouldnt be overlooked.

3. By this i believe more varied shooting, ball trapping, first time passing/shooting, heading from air pass will be more exciting coz timing will be deeper. Of course various animation for this tasks should be added instead of just replacing with new one too...

Hopefully their animation engine now will not prevent them from doing this... :P naah me too much too ask lol

Is it just me experiencing problems logging in or looking at the MLO comp list? It's doing my head in. I've dicked about with ports and so on but no luck. Really pissed off because the logging in time is such a narrow window anyway, even if I manage to log into the game.

The sooner somebody can help me out with port forwarding or agree that there are definitely problems that aren't just affecting me the sooner I can stop being pissed off, so please throw me a bone! :)

I'm using the WENB option file at the moment, is it just a case of copying over the files or will I have to copy your edit data also and redo all the changes I've made so far?

I've set it to auto in the menu, I have some ports open on my router but none are specifically PES related.

Have you tried this website?

Just downloaded the Konami connection checker from here:

I don't seem to be able to use 3658 so I've used 30400 which I had already opened for something else. I can actually get to the MLO screen and look at the compo list now, which is a start.

just hope the update on tuesday wont mess up the data,ive moved some players around to see if theyll default back to original position after the update

long way to go ,chimps will do all the stats when im finished kits and player creation
 
Not sure if it can be done again, but at the start of the game when I installed and played for the first time I removed some of the stuff on the menu, and sure one was the player name removed above the guy's head, but it seems to still be on the opposition players heads.

Is there a way I can get the names back, as I can't see it in any of the option files? I can mess around with the cursor/stamina ones but not the players?

I wasn’t going to buy Pro Evo this year and I have bought everyone since the first ISS. I had just about given up on Konami stepping up to the next generation consoles but I did and I have to say Pro Evo 11 is a massive improvement.
I hate the replay cameras they are by far the worst ever you can`t Zoom out far enough and at other time you can`t raise the camera the only one that’s any good is the one that’s really far away. I hope the guy who worked on these camera angles has sobered up.
Is it just me or is there not that many cut scenes compared to other years ? and I have yet to see a Substitution scene is there any. anyone seen it?
It would be good if you could adjust the camera angles like in Fifa to suit yourself as they are limited. I use broadcast and at times its too close.
Steve Davis is way underrated in the game and no call name for him and he’s Scottish player of the year. . That man owned the Italians on Friday night playing for Northern Ireland a class player but I fixed that.
Apart from that Great game this year and I will play it for hours.
 
Got into MLO, so far 5 played 5 won. (although one has been recorded as a loss after 'Connection Lost' when I was 2-0 up :CONFUSE: )

Lag-wise, it ain't great lets be honest, but definitely playable. Not had any particularly laggy or smooth games, just a bit jittery through out.

I like that it takes a while to build a good team, so far I've brought in a few 65+ players. Azimendi upfront for flair, Vukčević for a technical ability and some Russian at DM for a bit of bite.

Can't work out how to enter Competitions, it either says it's not taking entrants or it's already full.

Not seen any real exploits gameplay wise, everyone I've played so far has been really weak. In fact I've only conceded once I think

Little MLO bargain tip-off - Khlosneri (Iranian guy if searching by that will speed things up) is rated 65 or so as a CMF, and costs as much as you'd expect. Pop him on the right wing though and he becomes a 74. Good stats for the money and a 6 rating for consistency.

Is this download for wireless connections or direct connection from my PS3 to my modem? I'm confused. Do I need to download this?
 
Anyone got any tips on defending? Particularly when one on one with an attacker or when faced with a through ball towards the run of the attacker. Not struggling massively but there are times when it seems impossible and I wondered if anyone had any specific methods of dealing with either?
 
PES2011 has a broken stamina...

Gavingstone ran all the time with the ball (set on lowest difficulty)....
I mean ALL the match....
He has 99 stamina and 8 form....
This is 89th minute....
Im 99% sure that we will have to wait for PES2012 to have this fixed...

Nice I will buy him now. Here is another gem in return, a huge French CB called Plessis, he is a monster, all 193cm of him. A snip at £585,000, send him up for set pieces, he loves them. Finished MLO comp and didn't qualify with two wins and a draw. You need the maximum 9 points and at least plus 7 goal difference to qualify. I got £70,000 for each match and £200,000 prize money.

Poor Konami roster again, that's Damien Plessis who's contracted to Liverpool (out on loan at the moment) and he's not a centre-back. He wasn't in 2010 and he still isn't now. Should be a MC, with secondary position as DMC.

Is this via the players to join attack option? Does this make him stray out of position a lot?
 
Not sure if this is an exploit or just people defending poorly, but today I have scored at least 5 goals straight from kick off...

From kick off, give the ball to your left-back/right-back (also did it once with a centre back) within a pass or two, and then hit a diagonal manual long ball and aim between their defence and keeper.
If your striker doesn't get directly onto it there's a high chance it will fall to someone in a dangerous position off a defender...

The goals did look pretty realistic though, and it is a manual pass, so I think I'll just regard it as a legitimate effective tactic :SMUG:.

Thanks Romagnoli for that suggestion, I signed him and he's been great for me in the few games he's played :).

Anyone? I can't defend for shit right now. Let in 3 against Fulham, playing as Spurs. All from through balls that my defenders just stood still on.

Is it even possible to defend that?

had a few problems with that myself, its like at the moment the defender should get the ball, for some reason he just doesn't and lets it run across his toe instead. until i can work out if its me or the game, i've set my back line to be deep, so any through ball gomes is cleaning up, the i got hudd in front giving some protection.

I'm guessing you already know how the new defensive system works!? If you do, if you still can't get it right, then don't use it. Sometimes for me the best way to get the ball is just sprinting in it's direction, pressing nothing else.
