PES 2011 Discussion thread

Been playing it all night again tonight, mostly getting stuck into MLO online though, was doing pretty bad but tweaked tactics and now I have 2 wins in a row ;)

Bought Scott Parker, Hernandez and just got D'Alessandro there, loving it atm :)

Mostly get red bar connections but surprisingly no lag in those games (I'm on 50mb internet) and having a good time so far.
 
How long does it take to get a decent amount of cash on MLO

I have 2 million currently, released 5 players.

Wheres the money at? Tournaments? Played about 6-7 games in all!
 
Cunting game didn't arrive. Play.com seem to have become seriously unreliable all of a sudden...

Had arranged to have a couple of mates over for a PES session, so we were all pretty unimpressed. Made do with curry, booze, Sports Champions, SSF4 and the other footy game (which actually went down very well with them).

I expect it to be on my doorstep by the time I wake up with a skull that feels 3 hat sizes too small and an aversion to bright light, otherwise I may have to declare war on the Isle of Jersey.

Oh - and that Deus Ex HD trailer on PSN is a bit tasty.
 
just conceded from 2, yes 2, scripted freekicks although I dominated the game, wtf, seriously KONAMI needed to be smacked on their heads, restart the game engine from scratch or they'll sinking even deeper!

what do you mean, of course its scripted programming :P kidding mate.
got several cpu freekicks also, most of the time handled well by top freekicker.Yes of course they aim it to the empty spaces. I have experiences also they went over target. So its not big problem for me so far

Sometimes if i forgot to put my defender back its so dangerous. the good thing that now the defender put under the bar could properly head away the ball not like in 2010 :SMUG: it will be alot of fun for head to head match :BOP:

It's so errrrrr.........free!

It is possible to play some lovely balls in to space wich is the biggest issue with FIFA for me. I have not seen anything that is a concern like fouls, shooting etc.

The thing is, there are exploits in every video game and if you play football games like a chump, rather than a football player then it's never going to be satisfying.

This game is all about the first touch, the ability to plan ahead before you receive it,taking your time to build attacks, varying tactics and admiring the sheer poetry on the screen.

IMO the game representss football very well, animations still need some work, but if you want to see faultless football, then go see your local pro club...........for a video game, it's pretty superb IMO.

Love the freedom, re-work of the animations, tactical depth, editing capabilities and graphics................but cannot standd the sound, the atmosphere from the crowd is still PS1 and needs a mod fast.

All in all...................brilliant, well done Konami:))
 
Played 3 online matches with Jimmy, great matches!

My Wireless helped up better than I thought :)

First game was Lille 0 - 1 Marseille (I won), was a very close game!

Second game was Ajax 4 - 1 PSV (I was PSV, Jimmy hacks!!!!!111). I think Jimmy will admit that the game was a lot closer than the score suggests.

Third game was 3-3, but I cant remember what teams we played with lol, but I was 3-1 up, and he pulled 2 goals back, including one in the dying seconds where he booted a ball up field and my keeper came out and completely fecked up and the ball bounced over him, straight into the path of one of their players :( Extra time was very tight, and we ended up with a penalty shoot out, which I won, 4-2 :)

Fantastic games though. Considering they were my first games of pes2011 since the demo about 2 weeks ago, I'm quite pleased with myself :)

Oh yeah, Jimmy, would appreciate if you left a feedback reply in my PEEL thread?

A long time mate if you dont enter the Competitions which I couldnt even enter yesterday as they were always full. :(

I sold 19 players, bought 3 players for £60,000 each, all of which have an overall rating of 30-40, but are in my starting 11 for the crack. They also all have the Passer Player Card, which is strange, but I'm not complaining. I also bought a keeper for £1.5 called Romo, D'Alessandro, Suarez ,Honda and a really good DMF for £1.5 million.

I'm loving online because it's just pure football. No sprint whores, cheating, nothing, just football. A real credit to the game.

Simcut, those were great games, and the connection was the best I have ever known. You might as well have been sitting next to me, it was just like offline, no difference, and I mean none. I'll sort the PEEL thing out. ;)

Yeah 100% positive. They may well be only 64 slots available for a Konami_PES playlist, but I have 2 normal playlists for my own personal listening and they show up in the menu to.

This is fantastic, prior to this, PES only found the Konami_PES playlist, now I guess it finds any playlist you have on your HD. Which means we could make as many playlists as we like, and fill them all with our own songs or chants. You have 7 chants per team instead of 8, but with this system we could give every team 7 chants subject to our HD size. Perfect.

Just finished first game on Professional level as I wanted to see about the fouls. I won with Lille v PSG 1-0. My preset tactics worked as I preset them to All out Attack if I was losing or trailing with 70 minutes on the clock. Hazard scored after 73 minutes as my whole team pushed forward. I had 6 options in the box. Absolutely no issues with the fouls for me, PSG conceded 12 in a 15 minute game. Alot of those were nothing fouls as well, just cynical leaving the foot in stuff. All the fouls I was worried wouldnt get penalised, that so wasnt the case. In fact it actually felt like there was more, they were right spoiling fuckers.

Things I noticed, passing seemed even better, in fact alot better. There seemed to be more angles, and I could find passes I know for a fact I couldnt in the demo. It also feels more responsive, in all areas, very noticable for me. Graphics dont look any better than PES 2010, played in a CL Exhibition game at Wembley at night. More animations and also smoother. Shooting felt more responsive with more variation. Everything feels so much tighter control wise, which is great. Commentary was pretty much the same, average. Beglin didnt say much either.

Right that's it, need to try online against Satnik, I want to see if the chants are played online. They sounded incredible in that last game, I have 5 brilliant Lille chants and the atmosphere sounded electric, for some reason alot better than PES 2010 with the same chants, must be the background FX.

Mityaj, I'm sure thats a NAT error, make sure you use NAT setting 2. Dont ask me how you change it though, thats way over my head. :CONFUSE:
 
We can't have an unlimited amount of songs in the game, it makes no sense limiting it to 64.

EDIT: I think I read your post wrong, ignore me I'm just looking for an excuse to rant.
 
Yes, I made two for the custom soundtracks and have others for chants and other games and they all show up.

The relevant two have has 64 and 57 tracks respectively.
 
Has anyone worked out how to transfer internationals into club teams yet?

I've noticed when you search players in ML, it doesn't show the internationals, only club players. T o me, this means the doubles and players with false names don't really matter, as they don't show up.

Takes 3-4 games to get into man :) That's what i was thinking the first few games.

Best used after you feel professional isn't aggressive enough :)

Klash im not stupid man, it has nothing to do with relearning the game. Knock the speed to +1 and watch, theres a bug that stops your players sprinting when you press the button.

Anyway...seems to be sorted now im on -1 so i can finally actually give the game a run. Gonna have to give broadcast cam a go and get used to it before delivering a verdict.

Go to edit/transfer. then select the team you want to add player to. click on 'add' and then you can scroll to the international teams to find the player you want to add.

Ok someone else...I posted the same thing on PesFan earlier today. I completely agree with this - the full game (Edit: PS3 Version) does not feel right.

I've been playing it pretty much non-stop since Thursday morning (40+ games) and I can't get in to it; it feels a lot more rigid than the demo, fouls seem far more inconsistent, player switching is worse & the collision system seems a bit of a mess. I get crosses go in to the box and I seem to have no control over the players waiting in the middle, in the midfield the ball bounces around like PES 2010...the only positive thing is I feel the shooting is a bit tighter & obviously the choice of game modes are excellent.

I played the demo for 3 weeks solid and absolutely loved it - I was so excited about the full release but I now feel really disappointed. I decided to give the demo another go this morning just to check I wasn't going mad, with Barca v Bayern, then went back and played exactly the same fixture on the full version and I'm now positive I'm right...the demo feels so much smoother, I honestly don't know what's happened to the code since, it's such a shame.

I'm going to keep playing and hope it clicks but at the moment I'm really confused - hardly anyone else has mentioned this across all the regular PES forums, so maybe it is just me (and a few others)! :)
