I have absolutely no idea how to defend on this. Seems completely impossible. All the AI has to do is play a through-ball and my defence are all over the place.

The more I play, the more I dislike, which sucks.

It's not that difficult, all you have to do is to see through what the AI plans, often one can see someone running to position himself for a through-pass. When you realize what will happen, you have to switch to the defenders and reposition them by making them retreat a bit so that the runner can't get through easily... but you have to do that in time.

Disappointed to see free kicks are still scripted as hell. Was conceding most of my goals through free kicks so decided to put a player at the post, unrealistic as that may be. Instead of exploiting the fact the offside trap is now useless the AI just shoot towards the post I put my player on with said player doing a funny jump out of the way giving the AI a cheap goal. Very lame

Anyone know a good guide/tutorial for creating OF's on the PS3? I might take WENB's OF and try to do the Championship teams myself but I haven't got a clue on where to start really.

Simple mate, go to site of the team you like to recreate ( kits, players, etc) and create the stats using the pesstatdatabase

What about editing kits though? How are they created?

Anyone who was waiting for GTM's OF with championship teams and German league teams and all that. It turns out he also has a 1021 copy of PES. The same as WENB.. so those of us with the other numbers can't use it


Is anyone else working on a OF with championship teams so Premiership fans can set up a real division 2 in ML?
I know gerd mentioned doing one but I don't know if he's doing enough Championship sides to fill division 2

You could use this for the championship teams

Every player is listed with his stats, attributes, foot prefernce, position, height, weight, age ect... plus a face photo of every single player from each team, including what youth players have been brought up to the first team...

Although the Question on the arrows appear some pages before for ML Offline, I have to ask for ML Online:

How do the ondition arrows work?
I know what they do, but by what are they influenced? Or are they completely random in ML Online?

Do the arrows depend on
- home/away
- last games player rating
- players condition/fitness rating (the number above weak foot accuracy)
- nothing of the above
?

Rad, that thread is brilliant. Looks like a few people are working on Championship OF's already, using his template and the WENB OF as the base. I'll just hang around for one of them I think

The commentary is pretty rubbish in all honesty.

Starting to enjoy the game a bit more now though after switching to professional difficulty to get used to the controls and such.

I've been playing it 3 evenings and haven't had the slightest stutter like in the demo, no problem for the 360 version...

Guess I'm off into town to buy it tomorrow,

I have the PC version which I'll use for all the mods, but I want a 360 version purely for some online action.

On another note, I hate the level of detail effect in this game, it's just over the top.

chimps no stats transferred over bit of a bummer,on the plus side all players no have stats so no having to make stats from scratch

I used to have a problem with this until I found you have to put the guy 2 yards in front of the line and hammer the button to clear it as yes, it's unresponsive. One or two presses will not work.

I've headed away plenty of AI free-kick attempts that were actually on target, around 90%. The other 10% being a mixture of slow defender and rocket shot.

Just used my prequel data from gtms lastest(and last) option file for pes2010.

Works like a charm.Full kits,updated lineups and teams.Emblems are spot on aswell.

back to the shop your game is going you know why? because they just cant leave some things alone. Got in put it on, think its an improvement except i cant play this game, they've ruined it for me with the garbage camera angles.

They've ruined the broadcast camera - the only camera i could play on with the most useless, vomit inducing implementation ive ever seen. The camera actually pans as you play like your swinging side to side on some sort of camera crane and i HATE the wide cam with a passion, i like to see across the field.

So thats that then. Ruined.

I played against a guy in the MLO, and his team was Arsenal and I could see the replica kit from my PES 2010 OF. So as long as you have an option file that has all the kits you can see them at all times, both your's and your opponents. Awesome. Who needs license's ?
