PES 2011 Discussion thread

:LOL: imagine what the full game is going to be like...what surpasses xmas?

There's BAL, Online, ML, International Cups, Copa Libetadores the list is long and life consuming even if they took the beta as is and unllocked the game modes it would keep me busy till next year.

Hmm i don´t know, they declared it at FB as "Bolstered with the addition of (Spanish teams). I didn´t played pes2010 very often, so i don´t knew it.

The words of the written press holds very little credance for me and i only ever use reviews to gauge a games overall quality,i never take them as fact or gospel although you will very rarely see a average game recieve a glowing review.What cant be denied though is even with the limited amount of time a magazine reviewer will have with a game is enough to accertane the quality of that said game.If pes2011 or fifa11 are the sum of there parts there quality should be very evident over a period of a few weeks not months,with this we will see in december argument holding no water for me as even with pes2010 the cracks were there with the core problems being very evident even in the demo.

The beauty this year is we have a 10 min demo of pes2011 to hammer out for 4 weeks,so for me any issues if any that pes2011 has will come to the fore well before the release of the full retail code.

In all honesty though for me theres to much of a confident swagger about konami this year and releasing a 10 minute demo four weeks prior to retail code demonstrates that konami are confident the football purist will be able to see clearly there vision and what there bringing to the table this year.

As someone who has played as much fifa as i have pes2010 and blue samuri i havent even looked at eas offering this year as good MLO beta right ups and hands on previews from people that for me have credibility has convinced me that we finally have a konami football game to rival what ea are currently doing from both a technical and gameplay stand point.

The videos dont lie and ultimetly nor will the demo and i cant wait until tomorrow which will be the real fans acid test.

When you compare pes2011 to fifa11 its clear ea have reached the peak of there current tech and dont have a lot of room to radically change there existing template(nor do i think they really want to,or need to)when konami are only this year just hitting there stride laying down something clever in pes2010 that they could successfully build on this year allowing them to make the changes they have.As broken as pes2010 is it was a neccesary evil to get to the point that pes2011 and this cant be underestimated.

Regarding the scoreboard, I think the graphic below is used for Copa Libertadores friendly :)
At least at Gamescom it was like this, you could only play friendly and the scoreboard was just a variation of the original game scoreboard ;)

@PATe:maybe, but probably the gamescom code are not the lastet, and they might changed the scoreboard later into the FOX sports one,can't confirm at this moment

before the announcement of getting the licenses of Bayern Munchen and Werder Bremen, the game(MLO code) has the data of these 2 teams and Schalke 04 already.
now we know the PES2011 will have the licenses of Bayern Munchen and Werder Bremen, what will be the "destiny" of Schalke 04?
i think it will be odd for placing Schalke 04 as unlicensed in the other league A/B, with Munchen and Bremen,so i guess it may appear in other league C(Bundesliga)
i guess the 6th league will be Bundesliga.

Probably. Does this mean Konami is making some progresses in fighting EA restrictions? I wouldn't mind having the same situation with Bundesliga that we already have with EPL, fake league, 2 official teams.

those spanish teams were unlicenced in pes 2010 ,this is great news as it will free up more emblems and kit slots for editing other teams:))
 
I thought we would get a full list of licensed teams but unfortunately not.

Does this means that there ain't any news national teams ?
 
Im tired of waiting for xbox 360 annoucemend. Why is it taking so long. I hate Microsoft, i dont think its konami fault
 
True, this is a Microsoft Issue. 8 september for the Xbox is now unrealistic. Expect not earlier than 15 september.

You guess 6th league will be unlicensed or licensed or maybe mix Bundesliga?

I dont think MS s got anything to do with this, its obvious Konami were always on the side of Sony against MS, thats it.
