Re: PES 2009 News Discussion & Rumours (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS)

I've spotted following teams in Team selection->CL Teams:

ManU
Lyon
Bordeaux
Inter
Roma
PSV
Real
villareal
Porto
Sporting
Cluj
Zenit
Celtic

___

Cluj is a surprise, but where's Liverpool and the other known as licensed teams ?

I'm still hoping KONAMI implemnts ALL teams playing in group stage, even unlicensed (EA did the same on last years UCL game. There was EINDHOVEN, but no PSV)

It hurts to see no AC milan:( (we know why ofcourse)

Cluj was on the original list of teams released a few weeks ago.

I'm glad to see the Serie A teams all appear to be licensed with their official crests, even though there is that Calcio logo.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion & Rumours (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS)

One thing I spotted is that it's the PS3 version, and the animations seem pretty fluid in the presentation during the beginning of the video.

indeed: even the introscenes on pes2008 had lag (about 15 fps); seems very smooth now!

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion & Rumours (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS)

I've just seen the video...Very interesting but forgive me all if I say in italian :" Che rompicoglioni quel tipo con la batteria a Guitar Hero!!!"

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion & Rumours (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS)

can u play CL with any team..... like u can make ur own poule/group or only friendly match?

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion & Rumours (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS)

I actually had that same question, but I see you are already discussing it.

No Bayern absolutely - not even for the Champions League?

But... Bayern is in this year's Champions League... How will this work? What happens if you select Champions League mode - not exhibition - but competition? What will the default groups be composed of?

Best regards,

Paulo Tavares

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion & Rumours (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS)

WTF NO OLD TRAFFORD!! :(

is that the FULL stadium list thomas?

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion & Rumours (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS)

I was hoping we would get a CL mode with the real groups composition. Remember the ISS PRO 98 World Cup Edition for the PSX? In the World Cup mode we could choose to play this mode with the real groups composition or a ramdom one.

I'm guessing the CL mode won't such a great thing when played outside the ML, nonetheless being a owner of the PS3 (no patch:() it's great to play exibition matches with the CL addboards.

Cheers

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion & Rumours (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS)

No germans clubs = ZERO
no Bayern, no Werder

if KONAMI couldn't manage to include all CL (group stages) teams, licensed or unlicensed, then the CL mode/license is pretty useless. It's just a "custom tournament" with 8 groups, followed by knockout stages.

I want to have an official statement from KONAMI, why they can't include some teams. As said in earlier posts, EA didn't have Dutch teams licensed, but they've been included in UCL last year (original players, no crests/kits, but "real" city)

Sorry Thomas, no offence towards you. I really appreciate your news service.

Maybe it would have been better to employ some more 3d animation artists instead of wasting money for a license....

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion & Rumours (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS)

i'd also like to know if old trafford is in, think gamespot said they were a while back but i've read no confirmation since

regards

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion & Rumours (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS)

I saw the vid, and looks like this video's the first to confirm, Serie A teams lisenced.

Also, the WE2009 official website opened.
But no Serie A logo here too. I wonder why Konami won't post the logo here.
http://www.konami.jp/we/2009/ps3_xbox/

This is just a guess, but maybe they lost the league lisence, but they really worked hard and got the
lisence for all teams individually for Serie A. If so I would liked to give them a big thanks for the hard work they've done.

If so I would liked to give them a big thanks for the hard work they've done.

Nothing says " thank you " more then all the money I have spent on them the last 12 years and the inferior products we keep getting since PES 5.:-!

That is right, no Old Toilet or Anfield, it was confirmed by WENB.

19 stadiums... what a shame again... probably in 2020 we have 50 stadiums or so...
