Is the aspect ratio corrected in the 1600X1050? Or is still 4:3 or 16/9. The native ratio is 16:10.
 
1680x1050 High settings gives me slowdowns sometimes. Hope they optimize the engine so that my 7800 GT can keep the pace! By the way it´s 16:9 or 4:3, but it 16:9 does a good job. Maybe invisibly corrected?
 
For the peoble who have problems with the chantpatch.
You can try it this way:

Install:

You need AFS Explorer

1. Unpack Demo chantpack into a folder of your choice
2. Start AFS Explorer and go to menu FILE - IMPORT AFS File
3. In the dialog window go to last combo box and select ALL FILES
4. From your PES 2008 img folder open cs.img (backup it first)
5. Answer NO to questions and the file will be opened.
6. Go to Action > Import Folder and choose the folder with the unpacked files.
7. Answer Yes to questions and the file will be opened.
8. In the dialog window go to last combo box and select ALL FILES
9. Now save the "cs" as "cs1.img"
10. Wait for end of rebulding and answer Yes to the next questions
and the file will reloaded
11. Close AFS Explorer
12. Remove your old "cs.img" and rename the new "cs1.img" in "cs.img"

you have to go to "folder options" and tell windows not to "hide extensions on known filetypes".

i don't know the exact term because i have the german language windows version, but it has to be called something like this.

Sound Pack


On sound in general, I have no sound in the game ? I have an old creative sound card, but that plays sound from PES6 FIFA08 demo TW08 World In Conflict demo ..

Anyone any idea why I am not getting sound ? as I am getting it will all these other games and demos

Those Spanish kits have transparencies :mrgreen:

Btw, does anyone know of a way to get the graphics up to High Quality? I'm in Medium and it runs fine, but I want them to be even better
