PES 2008 demo - patches, files etc

Install:

You need AFS Explorer

1. Unpack Demo chantpack into a folder of your choice
2. Start AFS Explorer and go to menu FILE - IMPORT AFS File
3. In the dialog window go to last combo box and select ALL FILES
4. From your PES 2008 img folder open cs.img (backup it first)
5. Answer NO to questions and the file will be opened.
6. Go to Action > Import Folder and choose the folder with the unpacked files.
7. Answer Yes to questions and the file will be opened.
8. Now save the "cs" as "cs1.afs"
9. Wait for end of rebulding and answer Yes to the next questions
and the file will reloaded
10. Close AFS Explorer
11. Remove your old "cs.img" and rename the new "cs1.afs" in "cs.img"

ok, i did everything fine, except the last step, because if i try to rename the file it looks like 'cs.img.afs' not 'cs.img'

Edit: i see there's already a guy with this problem, any suggestions?

Edit 2: I fixed it:

First of all make sure you *can* modify file extensions :

- open Windows' Start menu, select Run.... Type in "explorer" (without the quotes)
- in the 'Tools' menu, select folder options
- then click on View
- Deselect the option "hide file extensions for known file types"


From now on, to rename files, right-click the file to rename, select rename, then give the file a new name and extension, then hit enter. That's all. :)

About your edit 2: i deselected the option, but i still can't see the afs file in my pes 2008 demo img file (under windows explorer)???

Anyway, you wanna edit "next-gen" WE/PES graphics?
HERE is a version of GGS compatible with DDS files and the X360 version of PES6 (i guess it should also be compatible with the PES2008 PC demo, which i don't have). I was planing to release it as soon as the final version of PES2008 was out, but it seems the "next-gen" editing is kinda unstoppable...

[size=+2]PLEASE READ THE *NEW* README FILE[/size] (or press F1 for help when using the editor), as it has a lot of useful info for anyone trying to edit this game.

I just hope that Konami doesn't read this whole thread and encrypt the final version. I take no responsibility for it in case that happens...

Discribe your problem. I have no idea. Because it works perfectly on my computer.

PS: Thank you for all the great stuff, like music, chants and balls. It´s perfect.

No, i'm under Vista.

I'm sure i deselected the right thing and made the other steps rihgt. i CAN see the new afs file in afs explorer, not in windows explorer...
 
fabio that ggs it's for xbox, id doesn't work obocaman will release a new one soon , and we can also import kits with it
