PC Gaming

PC is here and it's alive :)

Haven't figured out yet how to control the RGBs.

Signal RGB can change the RAM colour but doesn't give me any option to change the Arctic Fans or the Zotac Logo. Any ideas?

And tell me about the Fan Curves now @Bogo36
Nice!
I use Signal RGB for everything. Its a little bit hard to configure at first, but its awesome.

For the fan curves: It depends how far away your pc is standing.
In the Bios you have to find out which device is connected to which pwm port.
Just tune the curve high and you will see/hear which device is which.

For the Pump i use a almost flat 30% curve. Im a silent freak 😅
If it doesnt bother you, you can go for a flat 40% curve. You almost wont benefit from everything above 40%. Some users on the Hardwareluxx forum tested this.

This is my curve for the Radiator Fans. You can adjust this to your likings.

For the VRM Fan on the pump, just use a flat curve. Go as low untill the fan is inaudible for you. This one is not so important.
For all the Case fans you can try it for yourself. It isnt that hard. I dont use the CPU Temperature for the Case fans because the CPU temperature can have some spikes and this causes the fans to spin up briefly and then go back down again. I use a PCIE sensor on my Board because the temperature fluctuates less on this sensor and so are the case fans.

Thank you for this, PC is running as silent that it doesn't bother me now. Actually only set the Radiators and the pump, rest is fine with the default fan curves for now.

Very happy now, thank you for all your suggestions @Bogo36, @bsmaff & all the other people who gave their opinion about all the components (@Tom, @PRO_TOO, etc.), love you guys ❤️

Now only the back and shoulder pain needs to go away I got from doing all the cable management from the PC and the new Monitors on my desk with my 2-PC setup :D

I am glad you like your new machine...
You had it a couple of days now, so your probably already thinking of upgrades.
OLED monitor, new chair, new desk, new speakers, new headset, maybe a steering wheel.

Hey folks… I’m on the brink of going for a 4080super, coming from a 6800xt. I only do sim racing on 1440 triples, so FG is not an option (dlss could be). 4090 and 5090 are out of the calculation due to prices…
Now I was thinking maybe a 7900xtx would do… but I don’t wanna miss out on dlss completely.
With the 5000series being on high demand and not as many available at release… I was thinking about 4080s for 1.080 euro! Prices for 4000series cards should go up as well… when not being produced anymore.
What do you guys think?!

Yeah, I’ve asked before. 🤪😊

Hi mate, don't ask me about AMD's GPU's. I had one in the very past, and then never again. So I don't have knowledge about them in the present.

But I can speak for my self. The RTX4080 super will be one of my next target. The RTX 5000 series are not worth the prices. For example I saw a YT video from PCGH with the specs from the RTX 5070ti or so, and they said this GPU is less good like the RTX 4070ti.

RTX 5000 serie's are a rediculous.

And if you prefer DLSS you would have only one choice - Nvidia.

:)) hope it helps a little bit.

A 4080s has about 45% more power than a 6800xt. For me thats not worth it (because of the high price), but its your decision.
Maybe you can get a used 4080s for a good price after the release of the new cards.
Or wait for 5070TI benchmarks. Maybe that card is a better Option. Atleast its not so expensive.

What are the options?! 4090 or 5090 are not! 😂
Na, 4080s or 5080 would be a 800 euro investment if I sell my old card. Payed 720 for my 6800xt back than.
9070 is coming in March, afaik… I’d probably rather go 7900xtx.
Used prices aren’t that much better, you probably know the market. …plus no warranty!! I’m not saving a hundred bucks and go used card.
I’ll wait for the benchmarks this week and see what’s up…

Edit: also, please tell me 3 times a gpu had more than a 45% performance gain than it’s predecessor, in the last years.
Is it really that much of a gain?!
Hardware evolvement is nearly on hold; see manufacturing process, available slots to produce… and AI and software optimization will be big the next years.
Don’t get me wrong. I do prefer native performance but I can’t close my eyes on what is happening.

Does someone know for sure…?
Does the lossless scaling app (5-10 bucks) support eyefinity and/or surround?!
FSR does not work on my eyefinity triple setup.
DLSS works with triples via surround, right?!
