Thomas, Milan and Rennes have not agreed for Gourcuff yet, but both clubs say a deal will be done by this week, with Gourcuff probably staying on loan at Rennes next season.

Galliani also rejected any talk of RVN, Drogba or Ronaldo heading to Milan, and will bring Real Madrid to court if they even think about talking to Kaka.

Borriello, Brocchi, Foggia (Loan from several clubs) > Milan

Milanista, I hope Gourcuff can stay at Rennes for another season (whether on loan or not) as it will seriously help aid his development as it did this season playing so many games.

But I have to say I don't think that's so likely to happen now after all the things Yoann said which would have pissed any Rennes fan off. I think we'll most likely see a permanent transfer to Milan in next few days or week and that'll be end of this!

Very strange. He is the Best L2 player and could do something with Lorient but he prefered to join Sochaux who's not as good as it was. Very strange :).

He could also come to OM apparently but he rejected it since their future and plan isn't so clear and he said they don't have manager yet.

But he seems to like Alain Perrin :roll: :lol: so that's why he wanted to join and plus it seems the Sochaux staff/chairman were in contact with him for few months before season even ends so he knew their interest in him was serious so he opted to join them.

How will Lorient replace him now? hmm..

Issa Ba from Chateauroux is finalized for Auxerre too Thomas. ;)

That's 3 new faces already for Jean Fernandez who hasn't taken long to get busy at his new club! 8)

Edit: Oh yeah and BigBoss, the defender you're talking about I believe is Ze Castro.

Koller + Di Vaio will be nice and unique line up! 8)

p.s. You will have someone like Chevanton on bench along with Vieri (although past it good for bench player) as back up and youngsters like Gigliotti and Maurice-belay there to provide depth when needed too. Sebastian Grax is also coming back from loan at Troyes I guess so Monaco's strike department doesn't look too bad for next season and with new manager too, it could be a good one after a disappointing one last term. :)

If Monaco can turn that loan into a permanent deal and Marco really wants it to happen but it's not certain to happen yet as other clubs are interested too. (even though Marco says he wants to stay no matter what other club are interested and he doesn't want Valencia to sell him to other places than Monaco because he and his family like it here and don't want to move again).

it's a good move for monaco, tough i expected him to go to a club with a bit higher ambitions or at least higher goals reached in the season 05/06. i think i remember him saying he wanted to play CL once more for the end of his career so i more likely saw him heading home (liberec f.e.) or back to belgium. also it will be quite a new situation for him to play in front of only like 1/8 of what he was used in dortmund ;)

lol.. yeah despite the crappy crowd though, AS Monaco still has that 'prestige' feeling to it for a player, which I'm sure you know what i mean despite a disappointing season last term.

Plus he's 33! Still can get job done and might have extra year in him before heading back home or to Belgium. Who knows maybe even extra 2 years since that's what the Monaco board offered him.

yep, i agree, guess those were the reasons for him to move there. but he is somewhat of a phenomenal player, injured for 7 months and now he's back and scoring like allways. would've been interesting to see him perform in EPL btw!

No way !Chevanton is much better ! :mrgreen: Despite his injures, he did always great with ASM.

I don't care really OPM lol.. would be equally fun for me to see him in Ligue 1 and how he might do, so I'm not disappointed one bit :)

@Tuta, haha you think he's done great for Monaco?? He hasn't even shown 3/4th of what he's capable of yet!! ;)
He showed his real potency and how great he can be in Lecce season before coming over to France.

But yeah he's injured quite often so I think if Monaco can seal the permanent signing of Di Vaio, most times it will be Koller + Di Vaio with Cheva and Di Vaio rotating or coming on as subs.

I think he'll stay. Good money, near Italy. Monaco is a beautiful city to live in.You know Vieri spent 50000 euros when he arrived at Monaco on a helicopter to fly back to Italy easily?

im sure he doesnt know neither...
but when he gets there i guess people will ask him to proff his name! lol!
he scored many beaultifull rocket goal in last years brazilian Championship playing for Figueirense.
