Next Gen Consoles

There's a couple of free to play games coming to ps4 at launch too. Mostly Shooters but they're free full games where you can purchase optional fancy pants extras if you like but no pay to win things.

It's a nice deal for those buying an Xbox anyway.
 
Any streams for these consoles or any other games from gamescom around? Heard nothing about them tbh.

It's all hands on deck for Microsoft now. They've really made pig's ear of the pre-launch. Smart move really. Probably be digital copy, which can be gifted and/or sold at a cheaper price, which they'll probably get from EA. What they should do also, now that Kinect isn't mandatory, is launch Kinectless SKUs at or about the same price as the PS4.

That's what I was looking at yesterday, Sony haven't actually confirmed when their console is being released. As much as MS are f#$king up, atleast for a number of countries you know when it's available. For Sony I've seen 2 dates so far, nov. 13 and dec. 31., neither of which have been confirmed.

Decent effort by MS to add FIFA14 to the bundle at no extra charge (although a selection would be better for those who don't want FIFA). Although I'm getting the impression that it will be more of a bonus for most instead of swinging decisions.

Don't think Microsoft will have a public press conference. Maybe they have some problems going on. Sony will have a public one and you can watch the stream at gametrailers or at the official Playstation site. Sony will very likely announce release date (late october if CBOAT is correct).

The FIFA pre order is a good deal but they could still be trumped if they launch after the PS4, also why is it while stocks last when its a digital download?
 
Xbox claimed pre orders had sold out ... So is this retroactive? Only for those who pre ordered? While stock lasts implies people could go out and pre order now thinking they're getting the game only to find they're not getting the console at launch due to stock shortages and then the copies of FIFA have all gone!

Ooh....So it's just a desperate attempt to keep those pre-orders and stop them going to Sony. In that case...

Only 6 characters at launch. I'd rather keep playing SFIV.
 
According to current rumours the PS4 is 21st October and XBone is 29th November.

But we will all find out the actual release dates this week with the PS4 announcement at 6PM.
