Hearts had an Ajax style kit in the 1970's when a number of clubs ditched their more traditional kits in favour of designs resembling Ajax's broad stripe during the time when they won the first of three successive European Cups. However the Hearts kit from 1972 that this is supposedly modelled on was actually white with a maroon stripe, not the other way around. Having white in the away kit is not a clever idea either, unless of course there is a (money making) third kit coming soon.
P.S. that Werder kit is horrid. Seeing that zig-zag design strangely reminds me of that NASL team (cannot remember their name) who had TASSELS on the shirt in a diagonal formation!
