New Kits

Everton away

Man, first law of laundry no reds in with whites...

you obviously don't "know your history" then mate, Everton have always had pink kits, in the 1880s they had pink home kits and throughout the years have had salmon pink away kits a few times.

Some coments if u dont bother reading it:
"This better be fake.
A red(ish) Everton shirt?
Bugger me sideways."

"Home shirt again then for me."

"I feel sick."

"This......................the real reason why piennar won't sign his contract" (LMAO at this one!)

90% of the complaints are simply because it's a fucking awful shirt though, not because salmon is close to red, remember the Puma away kit in 2002? that was a similar colour.

Yeh, maybe i was not clear than.. but i was expressing my opinion, the fact that we had pink shirts back in the 1800's and a few away shirts doesnt obly me to like this one, imo is terrible and its too redish for my likes... that 2000 shirt was terrible too, but less redish than this new one:

I cant evan remmebering us using that kit, only the silver/grey one...

Theres also this article here that mentions how the Everton supporters got divided about the use of this pink on the away 1994 kit:

Everton away 1992-94

Umbro was looking to the past for much of its inspiration in the early 1990s. In 1992 it chose to dress Everton in a shirt based on the colours worn by the club 100 years earlier: salmon pink and navy blue. The only trouble was that the pink bore a little too close a resemblance to red for some Everton fans.

I never said you had to like it, i just said that pink shirts play a big part n Everton's history and therefore should be expected to be worn. Similar to United with green and yellow. the complaint that it's "too close to red" is a bit daft imo.

well, after Hertha, Inter and other nike club kits which are horrible (only Barca kits look good) this one is really surprise. Great, simple and nice made kit
