Pretty disappointing event overall, only the Miller & Lauzon fight was entertaining enough.

Not too much, no. It was far too one-sided. It was nice seeing JDS come back a little but you never thought that, even when he got his second wind, any of his punches had enough weight behind them to make a difference anyway.

Velasquez was just WAY too much for JDS and it was a matter of time from very quickly into the fight. At least Lauzon wasn't beaten enough that he could still have a fair go back but JDS was just done. A shame really, could've been great.

UFC On Fox 6 looks like it'll be a great event. The card is great anyway.

Ufc on Fox 6 was pretty good. Some entertaining fights and some good finishes. Main Event was solid. Overall I give it a 8/10.
 
Only saw the Pettis-Cerrone fight. Pettis is something.

Looking forward to 156, especially to Aldo and Overeem. Those two are killers.
 
I thought the only fight that didn't deliver was the Rashad fight, the others actually exceeded what I had in mind.

That was nasty. :SHOCK: The series has been good. This is the only one I think I might finish.

The thing about these fights is that there is no crowd. So you can hear and in this case feel everything.
 
After the Aldo v Edgar fight Dana White said he got a text from Pettis saying he would drop down to 145 to fight Aldo, now that would be an awesome fight!

Overeem v Big Foot was good to watch, serves him right for being so cocky and thinking it was going to be a walk in the park!

Also seems Anderson Silva v Chris Weidman looks to be happening later in the year.

2013 has started off with a bunch of great fights and looks to continue providing that there are no major injuries to top talents..

Silva freakin' blew it and deserved it for his antics. I usually like it when he does this stuff but this time he took it too far.

I have no doubt in my mind that all that excessive show-boating was for the benefit of Silva's idol, Roy Jones Jnr, who was sat Cageside. He demonstrated a lot of Roy's trademark moves, and he got caught for it. Wow.
 
Unfortunately a journalist on Twitter spoiled the result for me, very annoying.

As much as it kinda serves him right for the showboating, I feel he still would've beaten Weidman had that one punch not landed. Weidman was doing okay but I never felt Silva was in danger really. But that's MMA for you, one punch is all it can take.

Interested to see who Silva goes up against now if he's not interested in the belt.
 
I put every sport in a separate list on twitter so I can avoid them when I miss something.

Anderson underestimated a monster. Weidman set him up with that upward jab and Anderson moved right into the left hook.

Dana has to make the rematch, I thought it was kind of bullshit for Silva to lose in that fashion and then kind of not even ask for a rematch post fight.

I think either he'll make the Roy Jones boxing match or more likely we'll get the Weidman rematch.
 
Jose Aldo v Chan Sung Jung should be a good fight too, love the Korean Zombie.
 
He has a fantastic chin actually. He just got caught hands down, chin up, and both feet parallel by a heavy-handed guy. I am pretty sure Weidman also tagged him several times earlier in the fight.

I am mostly looking forward to Jones vs Gustafsson. Think he might have a shot at the freak.
 
I wouldn't call his chin fantastic at all. Best chins I've seen in MMA are Hendo, Rampage, Shogun, Nelson, Edgar, and Benson.

It's in it's first season and its Bellator's answer to The Ultimate Fighter.

I've watched the first 4 and think it could well be better than TUF if your in to that.
