They changed the cards Dags as far as I remember.

Whaaaat?! Ah FFS. I remember the kick-off's as the fighters were saying they still needed the fights to pay their bills etc, but White was saying he wouldn't put on another fight as a main event as it'd cheapen the card.

I need to keep an eye on MMA sites more.

I tend to visit Sherdog every now and then, that's always been quite good when I remember to check it.

I think it was UFC 151 that was cancelled looking around?

Anyway, 152 wasn't an amazing event. Quite liked the last event, I always like watching Jones fight.

Also saw that another Ultimate Fighter has started with UK vs Australia so got that to watch tonight :)

151 was cancelled because Henderson was injured to so they moved Jones to 152.

Just watched 152 today. Decent event.

Really hoped Vitor would pull that submission off. That would have been some upset and he was so close. Jones is amazing but he is very cocky for me to like him.

Bisping did a good job against Stann. Didn't expect him to win.

Spoiler...

I don't think Jon Jones is cocky at all, especially compared to a lot of other fighters. He just seems confident and pleased to be where he is, to me.

I was delighted Bisping won. Stann could be the nicest American ever and the guy you want your daughter to marry but JEEZ! The commentators go on like he's the biggest hero that the US has ever had and their constant love for Stann because he's been in the military is just nauseating.

I'm all for military personnel getting recognition but so should the fighters who came from absolutely nothing and are now making it in the UFC.

I have been away from UFC for far too long! Will try and keep up with it all from now!

Oooh Ultimate Fighter UK v Aus should be good! Thanks Dags :)).

What Season is that UK v Aus, Dags? The current season is Season 16 Carwin v Nelson isn't it?

It is, both are running at the same time pretty much although "The Smashes" (UK V AUS) has only had one episode I think.

JJ isn't cocky. If anything I'd say for such a young man who's already accomplished so much, he's always been and still is quite grounded, intelligent and calculating.

He's someone to be respected, learned from and admired.

I grew up watching Vitor the Phenom Belfort though and his amazing hand speed since the days of Tito, etc. and he'll forever be one of my favorite fighters.

Not sure I'm going to enjoy the UK V AUS show. All this "brap brap bruv" is doing my head in already!

Where did you find it to download Dags? Also episodes 1 and 2 of S16 TUF are all broken :((.

P.S. I think it's ok to talk about this as its not aired on our tv channels in the UK.

Yup. I think the only recent Ultimate Fighter that was good was the Bisping-Miller one.

About Jones, I think he is a great fighter but he is cocky. The way he puts his fingers in his opponents face, kicks their knees repeatedly, and starts the fights on the ground is disrespectful. He even said he thinks he is God's gift to MMA.

I like the St. Pierre and JDS types more. They seem more genuine than Jones

Does anyone have a spare invite they can send me for mma-torrents.com?

Jimmy sent me one a while ago but it got cancelled because i didn't go on for a while :(

Quiet in here

Dos Santos vs Velasquez 2 this week, should be a good fight and a hell of a lot different from last time.

Seems to be a good card as well, there's a lot of people who wanna go out there and bang so KO's a plenty hopefully.

I dunno Coopz, I could see the same result again with JDS knocking him out in the 1st or 2nd Round.

Should be a good card though.

Yup looking forward to that. Lots of interesting dudes on the card.

I'm leaning towards Dos Santos. Cain is overrated but you can never count him out. I believe Overeem will get the belt this year though.

And anyone see the Lombard fight? I think he is the only one in the division that can give Anderson trouble.

My Bad i should of explained more.

I only meant totally different because it surely wont be a quick KO this time, Cain surely wont wanna stand for long with him this time

Also Velasquez was injured last time he fought. Did his knee in or something a few days beforehand so maybe that was why he lost in the first place?

I think Lombard would get beat easily against Silva. The master counter puncher against the brawler i can only see 1 outcome.

Lombard has heavy hands but a lot of people Silva's fought have as well and he's disposed of most of them easily.

Cain`s agg standup style plays right into JDS hands. Unless he makes adjustments on his feet it will be lights out again.

Its an interesting fight put it that way

Can JDS knock him out again or can Velasguez take him down and ground and pound for the TKO

I watched the preview and they said JDS has never been on his back in the UFC so can Velesquez take him down?

If he does can he do damage because they also said JDS has a BJJ black belt.

Velesquez could well destroy him if he gets him down but It may not even get to that

It would be interesting to see how good JDS is off his back. He may well be the most well rounded heavyweight we've seen

Defn an intersting fight. I wouldn't be suprised if Cain won though. He is that good. He just has to have the right gameplan come fight night. Btw, about Anderson. The only person I see giving him trouble is Jon Jones. GSP is too small and right in his concerns about moving up in weight. He's earned the right to stay at 170.

Jones and Silva will happen imo. It`s an easier fight to make than Silva - GSP. Silva walks around at like 215/220. Jones will move up after he clears out the division and fights Silva. Not sure what order the fights take place in, but that is what I see happening.

I wanted to see Jones vs Gustafsson but they gave him Sonnen!! How does this fight make any sense? Sonnen has zero chance.

Jones vs Gustafsson will prob be next. The whole Sonnen Jones beef is a joke. There really is no beef. It`s all about selling the fight which Sonnen is really good at.

wow! Can't believe the fight went that way. I think Junior underestimated Cain. They will surely fight again though.
