Just watched the Countdown to UFC 118 show. Good programme actually, I'll be watching them more before events! Got me really excited for tonight's action. And I've had a fiver on James Tony to win!
 
I enjoyed some of it

Seeing how good Frankie Edgar is after dominating PJ Penn is every way, Diaz's nice boxing picking Davis apart and Joe Lauzon's beat down :LOL:

Yep.

Haven't seen much of Aldo but he didn't look as composed during that fight? Still impressive how he finished it, but Manny looked like he could've been a threat.

I really fucking hate Cerrone. Can't see why the fans love him so much, he's just a tit :CURSE: Not a great fight, watchable though.

The other fights weren't too bad, Roop's kick had me like :SHOCK: , amazing finish!

I want Smooth Henderson to fight BJ Penn

I would also like Jose Aldo to go to the UFC and fight Frankie Edgar

The future dream fights of the sport are in the 145, 155 divisions, REALLY good fighters.
 
Strikeforce Diaz v Noons 2 - now that's how you do an MMA event. Every match was exciting and I was VERY impressed by the female fight.

Noons vs Diaz was always gonna be a interesting fight and it didn't disappoint
 
Thoroughly enjoyed Strikeforce, more than WEC. Some poor decisions IMO...

JZ and Noons should've won I thought

but a very good event :D

The December 4th event looks like it could be a cracker, good to see Paul Daley back on the screen again as well.

Thomson and Diaz were both from that area, right? Funny that even Thomson said the judging needs to be better :LOL:
 
Literally just looked at the card to see whether it's worth it, still undecided. Maybe edging towards just watching it in the morning tho?

That was just superb. I was shouting and cheering cain when he put the beatdown on Brock.

Cain is different class...

to be able to stuff brocks take downs and to spring back up and to smash him like he did

really happy about the outcome a true MMA champion
 
Yep, great main event and enjoyed the Sanchez v Tiago fight as well. Decent event overall!
