Microsoft Xbox 360

i got banned on thursday, not overly fussed...they just won't get my fiver a month for xbox live

everytime i played fifa 10 online the other person was either barcelona/real madrid/man utd or Inter.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

find the whole pirate jibes abit two faced to be fair, the majority on here probably modded their PS2's to patch pro evo in the past haha

They may of chipped there PS2's to play a patched version lad, but I know I bought all the WE's and PES's so for me, I didnt do it to play pirated games, as I had the originals too. It isnt two faced and despite me being a Hammer, I have to disagree with your views on the situation.

Pirating software is the same as pirating anything, and I think it's not right. Why should you have been on XB Live playing someone who paid for the game? I mean FIFA launched at 25 quid in a number of retailers, Forza could be found for a little over 30 quid. So when you play pirated software, you not only denying the Development team their cut, the publisher gets nothing, the console manufacturer gets nowt, the retailers and the distributors are all left getting reduced income. All in, you breaking down how an economy works, at so many levels.

From here on in, any mention of being banned will be deleted, any more nonsense about flashed 360's will not be tolerated. The line has been drawn, warnings and bannings will happen.

it just arrived this morning!

got a jasper elite, extra official black wireless controller, lego batman, pure, forza 3 and dragon age: origins...

for £199!!

gonna trade in the 3 games and the controller (apart from forza 3) - how much you reckon i'll get?

Its useless because most people will have Sky or Virgin in the same room as there console anyway and why would you pay a subscription for about 15 low quality channels when you could get freeview or Virgin if you cant get a dish fitted for Sky?

You're being a bit narrow minded about this.

Yes, most people have Sky/Virgin in the same room as their 360 (as I do). But it's not useless:

- Plenty of people live in areas where there is no cable network in place
- Many properties are forbidden the installation of satellite dishes (council flats, rental, listed buildings etc)
- Freeview doesn't offer the range of sports and movies that Sky Player does.
- It can act as a multi-room Sky box for kid's bedrooms, students/people sharing rented accommodation, etc.

So it's not that useless after all.

Well if this is there only means of getting Sports and Movies i feel sorry for them because its really poor

and it can act as a multiroom as you said but why use this and pay extra for less quality and channels when you can just get an extra Sky+ box and use that with multiroom :LOL:

All Sky boxes in the house have to be permanently connected to a phone line. Not everyone's bedroom, has a phone jack. So it's good for kids bedrooms. Plus with multiroom you have to get another satellite feed from the dish to the box and pay installation and the monthly fee. There's not much in it cost-wise but Sky player will be a good option for some people.

installation is free most of the time now and multiroom weather it by Sky Player or a proper box is £10 extra a month

And they dont have to be connected permanently either, they say it does but most people take it out as soon as they get it installed

They do check from time to time to make sure your multiroom box hasn't been set-up in another house. I know someone who had calls from Sky asking why his multiroom box phone line was unplugged.
 
They dont do that straight away they send a letter saying plug it in or we will take action

I had a letter like that so plugged it in but i know others that have never had it in at all and had no letters either

I know you got 2 with the extra controller but I've just ordered it and I could only choose that (or another game) and one other?! I did get MW2 for £10 too though.

Can you search for specific songs or artists on it?

When i search for a artist there name comes up but it doesn't show any songs from them and when you click skip it other artists songs from that genre

very weird
