Hmm possibly, I think they announced a new HDD like 180 or 240 or something? You'd need the file from it though.

Got an Email today my Live runs out next month, can't believe it's already 13 months since the last time I was posing in here asking if anyone knows any good deals! So does anyone know any good deals for Live? ;)
 
Went with the first Ebay link, paid at 14:02GMT, will update when the code arrives :)

Edit: Oh the code Email arrived the exact same time as the Paypal receipt! Just went into my spam folder, got it now :)

Edit 2: Code redeemed fine through the Xbox live website (easier to copy and paste there from the Email) :)

Looks like SkyTV is launching 27th October (same day as Twitter/Facebook?).

Anyone know any more about it? The announcement today says it will initially be SD and you cannot record anything - but I wonder if you have to be an existing Sky customer (I am) or it will be sub based.

And if you pay a premium, you can get the sports etc, or again, if you already subscribe then you automatically get access.

See it is being advertised on TV now too :) Looking forward to this if it works!
 
Pricing and all that will be announced at launch, but it wont be cheap if you're not a Sky subscriber so, for that reason, I'm out.

Surely they should announce pricing before hand :(

I'm prepared to pay a small amount to have the privilege of having it on the 360, but I'm not paying another subscription!
 
Sky & Microsoft, they do like to give away things for free... No wait, they don't.

Reckon you'll at least need a multi-room subscription.

That'd be a pisser - if you could record AND have the same channels showing as your other sub, then I may be interested.

The lack of record is a bit of a killer. I'll compromise and say if the quality is consistantly good AND i can get SkySports, then I'll stump up the tenner.
 
Anyone have a hard drive transfer kit cable that I can borrow for a few days? I want to update PES with an option file and I don't have an XPort or anything and don't want to buy one considering I'll only use it once.
 
Afternoon all... am now in possession of another 360 kindly sold to me by a friend of mine and managed to get a Gold membership nice and cheap. I'm waiting on a WIFI adapter before I go online properly but should be on properly next week.

Have added a few of you guys on here and some have filled their friends lists, but feel free to add my GT if I know you off here. It's bumnuggetjim.
 
I've read several times of people getting banned for using shared option files on the 360. I would be very, very careful. MS are bastards like that. They don't like it.
