anyone played the crackdown demo if you haven't you should it's 1.24gb the grpahics are like ultimate spider-man but much better the gameplay is great and if you buy the game you get a halo 3 beta invite aswell
 
Alright my sexy friends! Anyone here played F.E.A.R? What a stonking game! LOVING it. I much prefer this style of shooter to something like G.O.W. Spooky as hell too! xxx
 
F.E.A.R looked good last time I saw it and I am tempted by this but Ive got far too many games on the go at the moment. COD3, GRAW on Hard Mode, Rainbow Six Vegas, World Snooker Championship 2007, PES6, FIFA 07, Test Drive Unlimited, PGR3, Need For Speed: Carbon! to name but a few.

Fair play mate that is quite a list but:

COD3 - Good but too similiar to COD2.
GRAW on Hard Mode - I don't know how anyone could play this through again, it gets SOOOO boring!
Rainbow Six Vegas - Crap
World Snooker Championship 2007 - Crap
PES6 - Crap
FIFA 07 - AWFUL
Test Drive Unlimited - Haven't played it, looks great.
PGR3 - Awesome game
Need For Speed: Carbon - Crap.

In other words - get F.E.A.R you will NOT be dissapointed! :D

Favourite album? Mine will always be Adrenaline. I met Chino backstage at a show in Cardiff many years ago.

Dont get me wrong I've played through the entire game and the idea of the game is great and so is the way it plays, but the levels just seemed a little dull to me.

I thought Around the Fur was their best and boy are we off-topic now :lmao:
 
I do understand what you mean about the level design. It just makes a change playing a shooter that isn't based around WWII or aliens.
 
While I disagree with your "crap-list", FEAR is an FPS in a class above the rest. Played it on the PC and never finished it, but it was really good. Condemned is quite good as well (on PC, but is also available for the 360).
 
is the nba demo out today if so has anynone downloaded it and is it anygood i was looking forward to the def jam one which was supposed to be out yesterday but has been delayed

Thank God for admin like you CW, I salute thee! ;)

I've played the NBA2K and NHL2K demos (was after something new to keep me busy); they're both very good, but I think you have to be a real fan of the sport to get the most out of them.
 
Anyone here ever flashed? My mate did and I'm thinking about doing it too.

Rainbow Six Vegas isnt crap IMHO. I think its pretty decent. Yes GRAW does get boring but I will try and finish hard mode. Snooker 07 I dont think its crap.... all depends on your taste in Video Games. Need For Speed Carbon is ok if you like that sort of thing but it does get old very quickly. Only the Canyon Duels are any good.

youre talking about nba home courts(EA BIG game) right?
cause NBA 2k7 has been realised for months now.
if so, i didnt like it neither...way too arcadish for my taste.

on another subject, i cant wait for MLB2k7!
from what ive seen theyve reworked the game almost 100% , specially witht the addition of EA MVP series producer. way too go 2k! (well ive got to hope this game plays good, cause thats gonna be the only opition ball game in 360, while ps3 will still have SCEA MLB the show, which is already proven a great game in past gen. yet to bee seen a screen of the next gen version)

Rainbow Six is a really good game in my opinion, I didn't like it at first, but once I got into it, I really like it

FIFA I agree with, I tried not to compare it with PES, but even then, the animations, passing, running, tackling and shooting are all faintly horrible.

you don't want to play TDU, the handling is nothing short of shit

PGR3 is my favourite game (and IMO still the best looking game on 360), and I'm not entirely sure that's a good thing with it being a launch title

Is there nothing wrong with GRAW other than the boringness? I'm thinking of getting it before GRAW2
