Manchester United Thread

Someone proven like Miroslav Klose would be great.Its down to the guessing game now.It might be a proven forward(Klose) or somebody young but has got great potential(Klass Jan Huntelaar).Sir Alex might nick Mickey Owen too.I heard we would wrap up a deal for Hargreaves sometime next week.
 
No! I don't want Mickey "I used to play for the Reds" Owen. He is too injury prone and getting on now.
 
I think Eto'o would be fantastic at United. His pace and his movement would be brilliant because that's what United attacking play is mainly about, the pace and movement of players like Rooney, Ronaldo, Giggs, Saha etc.
 
really great game. Thought liverpools left winger was brilliant, and United had some real moments of quality. Just a great occasion, so nice to see the game played in such a clean, sporting manner. The first teams could learn something from the kids!
 
I wouldnt want Adriano.He is too moody for my liking.He is that sort of forward,plays whenever he feels like so.Sammy Etoo would be perfect as I think Sir Alex is building this team based on speed in attack.
 
We don't need a top striker. We need another good one to replace Ole. A top striker will want to play every game. When we've been at out best over the last fifteen years it was with Ole, Cole, Yorke, Sheringham, McClair and Hughes. None of those were regarded as world class strikers really. Someone like Darren Bent could come in and do a fantastic job because of the amount of chances we create.

Sheff United tonight - lets hope we hammer them and Chelsea drop points at Upton Park. Damn, I want this title wrapped up NOW but Chelsea are going to chase us until the last game I feel!
 
Morten Gamst Pedersen would be a nice addition to the squad but where would he play? It would be fantastic if we signed the hunter from Ajax :)

Plus Pederson would give us another free kick option. If anything I'd rate him above Giggs already in that department, and when Giggs isn't on we've got no one for left sided freebies. I think it's a great call, he'd do well at United. Good for both sides of the deal (Gamst/United, not Blackburn :()

Hopefully we'll grab an early goal and settle the game tonight quickly, then coast through to save some energy for the weekend/Milan. Still fearing we won't win much this year, but nice to be in with a shout!
 
definetely agree about gamst pederson, ive wanted him at united for ages now, as for a striker, villa,torres,saviola,robinho any of them would be great

Edit: this is what i don't get/like in the Premiership: Evra just got murdered with a tackle from behind. Not even a yellow fucking card. I fear this might happen to Ronaldo some day.

Sure, but a tackle from behind that inflicts injury and forced substitution, at least a yellow around here.

And "The Diver" is only the best player in your league, go figure... ;)

I know exactly how terrible he's been this season. But thats not what I'm judging this on. I'm looking at his age, characteristics, what type of player he is, etc and I think we can turn him into an awesome striker. If you have great players around you, you can make almost anyone look good. So if you look at how good we've been this season and you throw in Adriano's size, power and skill, along with the service he'll get some Rooney and Ronaldo, I think you have yourself a VERY dangerous player.
If I had to choose ANY other player in the world, I would have gone for Drogba for the exact same reasons but thats never gonna happen so Adriano's the next best thing.
