csaunders said:United have come out and said ronaldo is not for sale... good, sounds like there telling the lad to shut up and play...
Gedtillo said:I think this is a transient situation: United is so much bigger than Chelsea. Abramobitch can't last forever in the club, he'll soon get bored and everything will return to its place.
Plus, if I were a footy superstar I'd rather choose Manchester United or Liverpool FC instead of Chelsea with no doubt. Money isn't everything, especially when you're Michael Ballack or Andriy Shevchenko. I'm very surprised to see Sheva fall for the money instead of history: he's already darn rich, and has already won everything. In that situation, I'd always choose to pick a club with a lot of history, one that would keep in a high place no matter how many years pass.
There are a handful of "Big" teams in Europe, history-wise, like:
- Real Madrid
- AC Milan
- FC Liverpool
- Manchester United
- Bayern München
- Juventus
- FC Barcelona
- Ajax
- Internazionale
- SL Benfica
There are a couple more, but these are the big names that will keep big forever. They might spend some years in obscurity but will certainly return to the top level soon. That's what makes a big club. The problem is that money has become way too important nowadays, and players prefer to earn big money in a second-rate club like Chelsea rather than have the honour to wear the Manchester United, AFC Ajax or Internazionale badge on their chest.
When I'm 75 I'd want to remember that I once played in Old Trafford and wore the same shirt that Bobby Charlton, George Best, Nobby Stiles, Eric Cantona, Mark Hughes, Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane, David Beckham and Paul Scholes have wore and felt before. The money will be gone. But the memory remains.
matherto said:he won't play again, if we don't sell him, then he'll just sit there like a waste of space, maybe not even turn up for training etc, either way, there's no chance in hell that we'll ever see him lining up in the red white and black again
ok, comming from the same guy who said pirlo isnt that good... hahahaahh ronaldo scores at least 10 for the red devils this year, hopefully all against chelsea and arsenalmatherto said:he won't play again, if we don't sell him, then he'll just sit there like a waste of space, maybe not even turn up for training etc, either way, there's no chance in hell that we'll ever see him lining up in the red white and black again
yeah mourinho gave great respect to SWP, Duff, Drogba(who he told to shut and play he isnt going anywhere, just like SAF and ronaldo), crespo(forced him back into a side, when he didnt want to play for chelsea), cmon manbeboquintero said:Make sense, but I wouldn`t play for a boss like SAF....just look at RVN situation that speaks for itself.People play for money and respect which Mourinho gives.Roy Testmonial game was about respect and memory which RVN can never get back. And SAF knows that,A new manager will bring everyone to ManU again
If RVN talk out like C.Ronaldo about leaving then SAF would be a hero, but RVN is class and SAF is looking bad
richardson has great speed and can play inthe middle of the park, as he showed at west brom. i like his potential, he also has a good set kickbeachryan said:..and Ronaldo has said he's fine with staying at United. Not a glowing enthusiastic comment, but if he shows up to training with a decent attitude, I'm sure he'll settle back into things.
Anyone else have high expectations for Kieran Richardson this year? I think he has everything ot play for and will be given the chance to get some games in. His crossing isn't half bad, and with a bit of consistency I think he'll mkae a pretty solid LMF...

ANy reason why?Milanista said:Just thought you should know, Gattuso said he got no contact from United, and said he wouldnt want to play in England, accepting to play for Milan even if in Serie B. He would only go to Rangers.

Whats wrong with csaunders post?matherto said:with this post, you should have no reason for laughing at mine, trust me...
Alucard said:Is it me or do these players just say the same things every year before the season starts just to piss the fans off. I think it was Neville last year, the year before that was scholes.
Now its Giggs turn saying we need to get off to a good start so we dont play catch up.

If you think we are going to get the likes of Carrick or Gattuso you are living in the fantasy world. As for Van Nistelrooy I actually hope we keep him to be honest, we dont have a typical goal poacher like he is and to lose him would be pretty bad. As for Ronaldo 1 he aint a fuckin team player he tries to do it all himself, 2 he cant put a decent quality cross in to save his life and 3 he is a diving little cunt! we dont need that at our club.
