You are funny.I dont think anyone else apart from yourself,would deny that Ronaldo is indeed one of our best.He is one of the starlets that Sir Alex is building this team around.Do you moan when he Ronaldo score for us? Ease up mate.We need Cristiano Ronaldo.
 
Heard on SSN that SAF has stated that RVN has handed in a transfer request. I should be an American with all them abbreviations.

If you get a good fee from the £19M you paid for him then it will be a great bit of buisness, though I have to say he has been my favourite Man U player for years. He will be very much missed especially if he leavs the Premiership.

no, if you think he's one of our best, then we've got an awful team, and no hope of the title next year (not that we will anyway)

he can't pass, he can't cross, he's too greedy, he's a cheat (not just saying that from WC06, and forget saying, 'he's young and he'll learn', he's had a couple of years to learn, but he hasn't, he's bloody awful
 
You guys who say ronaldo is shit and a cheat are really stupid. Sure the guy has alot to learn on the pitch, but for someone who apparently cant. pass, cant cross, 10 assists and 12 goals for a midfielder who is onyl 21 seems quite incredible. Thats more than any of the other what the United midfielders did combined.

As for the cheat jibes, these have come out more and more since the events in the world cup. I didnt hear any of it during the season and the main reason why is because he cut out the diving, and thats all you can really say to his character is that he dives. Which I dont think he does for United since SAF doesnt allow it to be quite frank. With the portugal national team, Ronaldo is with other players around him who's culture in football is to decieve the referee and diving is common and you can see the manager is tolerant of such actions. It could be a reason why he could of done his antics in the world cup.

I cant believe we're even debating this. In his first season, he scored 8 goals, the next season he scores 9 goals, the season after that he scores 12 goals and you could bet your ass that he'll be pushing the 15 goal mark this season after a bet with Sir Alex.
Like Alucard said, 12 goals for a midfielder is more than most can ask for. Why dont some of you take a moment and think about the position we'd be in if you took away his 12 goals and 10 assists.

Apparently 12-15million plus Gravesen.

We can use thet for Carrick. Torres is a must now. He wont go Milan as they are offering no CL football.

Torres would be fantastic though I've read he's fairly loyal to ath. madrid but he could be pryed off.

Midfields are what is needed. Gravesen I could see but not ideal. M. Diarra is the perfect one but that's questionable/doubtful. Carrick is another one. I wouldn't mind Kevin Nolan, though he's more of an attacker but I'd like it, could split time with Scholes. I hope they quit with the Smith experiment and just put him back up top. Does anyone have any info on this guy David Jones. Anyways yea should be an interesting offseason.
 
Sad day, sounds as if all the crap about Ruud was true. I guess it probabyl is good business, but i always imagined him ending his career at United. Good luck to him wherever he ends up. We better have someone lined up...knowing fergie he'll trust Ole and on the first game of the season Saha will tear his ACL. At least Rossi should get a chance to prove himself

He go n get Torres as he has spare money now. he has no choice. Saha needs to get sold as he is pants.

He will do a deal like Wenger did with Reyes. Loads of add ons. Torres has to leave as they have replaced him.

He also has lots of games where his head goes down, doesnt seem to be intrested, diving at every opportunity (world cup anyone) etc. I just hope he comes out to be alot more consistent in the future and quick



On Ruud - if United can get around 15 million mark for Ruud thats a great bit of business, what is he 30 ?. To be fair he was becoming rather predictable with in his play. You can keep GK, defenders, some midfielders for a long time at a club but its good to see new blood in forwards from time to time

Anyone see the game today? I got the Ole Soljaskaer goals, look decent :)

Metallica, cheers for the article, if the clubs fail in the appeal, I think that many players might go on a free/cheap due to a clause in the contract I assume.
 
It's kind of useless saying, we SHOULD go and buy such and such a player for whatever reason, because we STILL, STILL haven;t bought anyone yet, we haven't even remotely looked like going for anyone, and it's really, really worrying. We need two strikers, a few midfielders, and an extra defender for cover, and I really can't see that happening unfortunately
 
His uncles Bob married twice to Betha Ferguson and Julia Wenger, and Betha Ferguson is SAF's cousin, who told her.

yeah, some cracking goals, but with Ruud gone, we're still gonna struggle for goals, even if Rossi is amazing
