Mikel put in a great performance for Nigeria against Senegal, if anyone watched, he also assisted the 2nd goal for Martins.

the kid is a special talent,

im gutted it never worked out he would be perfect for us...

hopefully we'll get some money and maybe even sanctions against chelsea.

im with barton on this mate..

if I worked with a bunch of muppets who didnt work half had hard as me and earned more, I would ask for at least the same money...

if my boss said basically "your only getting this, take it or leave it" I think most blokes would tell em where to stick it....

siddy are playing this loyalty card cos they "stuck by him" thru his troubles, if he hadnt been a good player they would have got rid of him, simple as that, the on top of that he was fined £120K plus it was Barton who went for help and paid for it himself, so what is it the club want back...

In these situations its easy for the club to play the loyalty card cos the fans get on the players backs but when a club want rid of a player he's out the door....

of course most siddy fans are plant pots and will call for his head but the more clued up surely must see this aswell....
 
Must watch motd! What the hell is it about blackburn that we find it so hard to beat them. At least liverpool dropped points tonight. We have got to clinch second place, third is no good.

anyone else think Ronaldo looked like his former self again?

Was very impressed by his attacking play. Been a long time since he played like that.
 
Basically the first three goals were gift wrapped for blackburn. Silly school boy errors cost us last night. I think we did well attacking wise. Ronaldo did seem abit selfish on some ocassions but i agree he did look like his former self, running at players etc. I just dont get why park wasnt selected. Im sure we hardly lose when he starts, since he makes up alot of ground. But i dont think he is very effective as substitute.

I think rio needs to be at the back. Not because i dont believe he can do job in midfield, but since he sures up the defense and who ever plays besides him does well. Rio is a calm commanding presence at the back and tidys up, something which i dont think brown or vidic are particulary good at.

I wonder why SAF didnt select Rooney in midfield beside rio for another game, with ruud and saha up front and park and ronaldo playing.

The flip side to that mate is if you were at work got slapped with two gross misconduct offences kept your job then they offer to double your wages!.....Youd take it and feel a lucky boy!

You should be used to it by now.

There's no way you'll finish 2nd, Liverpool are quite consistent this year and although you're not playing as badly as Arsenal you're not playing well enough to keep Liverpool at bay.

Its quite silly to say there is no way we will finish 2nd. Liverpool dropped points last night and the week before, so theyre just as consistent as united. Yes they got games in hand but i they also have to win those games. They also got to play chelsea,arsenal twice and us again. So second place is far from guarenteed.

Oh f*ck. Thanx for reminding us. I didnt notice seeing how I didnt think it was possible for the situation to get any worse.
Rio's suspension means we're bound to drop points again. And I'm sure Sir Alex will pick Silvestre because of his experience so there's another BIG minus.
I was thinking, if Ronaldo stays on the left for a while, the potential link up play with him and Evra can be something to look forward to.

Liverpool fans... after winning the champions league they became show offs, cant blame them coz its their first trophy for dunno how many years

i hope they lose the first round

p.s: did anyone see the wigan vs everton match? the attempted pile-up by bullard was hilarious

lol they only kept him cos he is of value to the club, if he wasnt he would have been fucked off...

the club looks after its own interests, not the fans or the players interests, if a player does the same all hell breaks loose..

and to top it off, the siddy fans (in their usual glorious muppetness) after moaning and crying on various football phone ins all week, gave him a standing ovation...

the boy will leave for a big club this summer....

lol wishful thinking lad, we're playing alot better than arsenal, even last nite, when was the last time asrenal scored 3 goals away from home....

i'd worry about your own club mate cos you's are in free fall, no suprise henry still hasnt signed....
