Well I'm glad they come in here, what's football if you cant have a bit of banter with your rivals, these boards would be dull if we all sat here licking our own teams arses all the time. I enjoy the crack and i expect the other lads do too.

im not arsed(no pun) about either arsenal or chelsea but the liverpool game is as important (if not more) than the derby to us...

anyway you cant beat abit of footy banter...

The Arsenal game has lost that feeling ever since Keano and Vieira has left. And after the many times we've beaten them, I'm convinced that its a tie we're expected to win so its not really that special to me anymore. Now its just like a game against Chelsea, or maybe even less important seeing what position the Gunners are in at the moment. And if Arsenal have a REALLY bad season, and key players leave, theres no doubt that they will no longer be considered as one of the top 3 in the country.

The Liverpool game on the other hand is something to look forward to. Like Vann said, this match is starting to once again become what it used to be.

well when we play you you're not exactly going for the title are you? an fa cup game or a champions league tie would be more interesting...but that won't be happening this season.

Games with Liverpool will always have the extra passion and bite to it,no question.Its true that Arsenal looked easy to beat since Paddy left,almost every team are havin a go at them,their 7 loss this season explains it.Now honestly you cant speak the same about us.Yes,we lost our captain too but we ARE still holding it together.Our teamwork and passion still stands out,just ask Gaz.:D Anyways,we've gotten another chance to beat them mickeys again,so its all good,final 16 seems destined for us.Cheers.

I don't know about the Barton thing. Firstly, can you imagine the pressure of the city/united switch? Who else has done it out of interest (my brain isn't working this morning). Secondly, i fear one day we'd wake up to headlines of how he and rooney killed each other in a locker room fight.

But...he does sometimes look very class, and i think with a good team around him he can only get better. Plus he's English and 23, so would fit well into the whole young team growing together bit.

Here's to a miraculous signing today, Fergie, Glazers, we're watching and waiting...

Wheres the link to the Joey Barton rumours? He'd be a great signing.A typical,passionate,full blooded english player.Too bad he's playin for Citeh which makes the transfer almost impossible.

Well its getting towards end of day on last transfer day...looks like Smithy/Sheasy/Fletcher are going to get every opportunity to prove themselves for the rest of the year, lets hope they seize it!

have to say i'm disapointed we havent got another midfielder in really hoping that someone comes in today we need them. I think o'shea looks out of place in the midfield (to be honest he hasnt looked good this season at all, in his first season i thought he would become a real class player) and for all his effort flecther doesnt have to quality or grit to run games like so many other midfielders in the league

Well it would make a difference youd have a decent defensive midfielder if he came and if he doesnt you wont...! Unless Milan change there mind over Vogel.

Milan said they wont sell him in the winter. Whether they want to sell him in the summer is a different question...

Mikel has 'begged' United to stop tryin to sign him. I'm not sure what's so difficult for this kid. United aren't trying to sign him. They have signed him. Why can't chelski just give us a few million quid, and he can start his wonderful career of looking down on the bench from the stands above, hoping one day the 8 players in the squad above him grow old/get hurt/leave?

Stupid stupid boy, I hope he does get a significantly higher salary at Chelski, if it turns out this is all about a thousand pounds a week or something I'll lose any semblance of sympathy.

But you can understand Barton's situation. He wants to be among the top earners at the club. He is one of citys best players, so its logical he should be top earner.

John obi is stupid because he signed the contract himself to united. Now after getting kidnapped by cheslea agents, he wants to pretend he was forced to sign the deal and all of a sudden chelsea is his favourite club in the world.
