Good performance today. Scoreline suggests it was close but far from it as we missed a host of chances in each half.
I thought Brown and Rio made a great central partnership today and should do every game from now on. The two dissapointments were Silvestre(got subbed neway) and once again Mr Darren Fletcher. Anyone catch his air kick in the first half? The problem with him is he never looks confortable with or without the ball, is too hesitant and gives the ball away cheaply too many times.
Park, Rooney and Scholes were on song today and hopefully Park should keep that starting place.
Credit to West Ham supporters for showing their appreciation for George Best unlike some twats in the Man City/Liverpool game yesterday.

Totally agree, everyone done their bit except fletcher who nevr looked comfortable on the right. Park defintley deserves to keep his place on the left with ronaldo on the right instead of fletcher for next match and we should be deadly.

Ruuds suspended for 1 match. Fergie should have bought Saha on a bit earlier to give him some match time.
We do look a real good team when we're playing away but we just cant seem to put this sort of performance in it OT anymore.

Fletcher will keep his place till Giggs is back. Ronaldo cant hold the defence as well as Giggs or Fletcher. Which is why you'll rarely see Park and Ronaldo play together.
I'm really loving the passing our team is producing in the last few games. The passes are so much sharper and the movement has been excellent. All we need to do is expand on this by maybe tightening our defence a little. And a new DM is just what we need. Along with Gary being a 100% and Heinze back in the squad.

Thought alot of the play was quality, rooney had some poorfinishing though. Even his goal should have been put away, and his chance towards the end was a miserable miss (though on the replay it may have taken a deflection on the cross, I couldn't tell) Ruud still isn't look 100% sharp, though his chip would have been nice. Fletcher was a waste of space, I really had high hops he'd improve with a run in the squad, but he's just not.
Who do we think is fergie's 1 target for the summer? Know he's in the CL, that's about it. Is gattusso really an option? How old is he/worthwhile? I've onyl really seen him against united in the CL las tyear.

Gattuso is in his mid 20s which makes him ideal but that move isnt very likely. Seems to me like it could end up being Ballack. Sir Alex did say that he'd get him in the winter but he'd be cup tied. So this man is someone who would also be available in January.

Keep in mind Fergie has already ruled out a move for ballack plus in his latest article he is talking about having th board back him so he must be talking about making a hugw bid for a player. Ballack is a free agent in the summer so it wouldnt be him.

lol same here. Another thing too is that we gonna get 2-3 players in january to boost the team and then in the summer its gonna be a big signing. Cant wait because i know Fergie aint gonna mess up this time after having to sell most of his last 5-6 signings which were flops, so we gonna have to get some proven talent this time round. No more gambles! lol.

Who do you think it will be? If its domestic it would have to be someone from either arsenal,chelsea or liverpool because they are in champions league and the player would be cup tied. Therefore its highly unlikely because i cant see us grabbing a big star from a rival club.

No chance. Thats not an area we need strengthing. We already have Heinze and silvestre who can play leftback. I know heinze is injured but he'll be back for next season(hopefully earlier). Even if Brigde was available,chelsea wouldnt be willing to sell him to Man Utd. Have you not seen the way chelsea buy players just for the sake of stopping them going to Man Utd. Good performance last night.Its a pity Rooney and Ruud didnt finish off those great chances that were made.We played some slick football today,very easy on the eye as the commentators put it.Park played really well and rarely gave the ball away last nite.Brown looked comfortable in tandem with Rio too.Fletcher was shaky and gave away too many balls for my liking,looked sluggish all night.3 points,second on the table,10 points behind Chelski with a game in hand.Transfer news now.As reported Fergie will hold on till summer for his prime target.Obviously they have contacted the player and obviously he is a star quality.But the obvious clues stops there.I cant think of any realistic targets for us right now.Vann,do you have any insider news? Come and bring out some great news Son!

After watching the replay of the game,guess who didnt track back Etherington,for West Ham's goal? DARREN FLETCHER!! hahaha!! Just to rub salt to the wound actually.One thing that irritates me about Fletcher is that,the bloke just never tackles! Park's close control,turn and that through ball for Rooney's goal was immense.I really hope Ronaldo would learn from Park on how to use the ball wisely,when to beat players and went to supply that killer pass for your mates.I dont think Park and Ronaldo was ever on the same team? I could be wrong but I doubt so.

Keane said he never wants to experience getting ready in the away changing rooms at Old Trafford so another EPL team isnt likely.
I still cant see it being anything other than Celtic for him.
As for the mystery player, if he's cup tied, domestic, a defensive midfielder and is gonna need some serious financial backing, all arrows point to Gerrard. But we're only assuming its a domestic target. I'm guessing its someone from Lyon. We've been linked with many of their players in the last few months.

Yeah its very likely its one of these guys. I know Utd have been tracking Nigel Dejong for long time now and is highly rated young defender, so i wouldnt be suprised if its him we get in the summer.
