If a player doesnt want to come here,then we dont need them either.Whats the "huhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!" all about? I dont think it will be hard for us at St James Park this weekend.The Toons like to play open football lately and is very prone to counter attacks,just watch their last game.Should be the last time we see Mr Shearer in that kit at St James.Could have won lots of things if he came to us,didnt,wouldnt & couldnt.The rest is history as they say.

History indeed, i fancy you would of won at least one more European cup with him in your side but well never know...! I see Newcastle are unveiling Luque today cant believe they have got him for 10m bargain! should give you a few more problems!

Id be suprised if he didnt, especially considering how bad they were against Bolton. Then again i think there problem was they couldnt create any chances!

United have only two major injuries, our team can cope. G.neville and richardson are the only recent players injured, nothing we cant handle. I never said it was gonna be easy anyway i just said i feel sorry for newcastle since they havnt even scored a goal in the premiership yet.I fancy our chances and i think we are playing newcastle at the right time when their confidence is low, although i know they still got strong team in midfield their defence is all over the place and their attack is non existent, shearer should of hanged up his boots long ago coz he aint gonna get no tropies playing at newcastle lol.

We have to till wednesday to bring someone new into the club.I cant see anybody to be honest,my last penny is still on Ballack and I'd have to borrow a quid from Runedge to bet on Owen comin over.Sulph,we do have injuries but I do believe we have adequate covers.O'Shea and Silvestre did not travel to Hungary as a measure and I believe they are now good to go.We are only gonna lose Gaz Neville for at least a month and I'm not too sure about Richie's injury,reported as not very serious over the last few days.

You're right...If you count Gary Neville as injuries. :roll:
He's the only one we cant replace properly.

And I think Park will start too. Ronaldo just had a game and Park and Rooney were rested so yeah, they should start.

Yeah he's fit, could be a problem for us, he may have played against us before cos we've faced Deportivo a few times so maybe a few of the players know him.

I fancy us getting the 3points against the barcodes on Sun, although Nevilles injured the fact that Rooney Park and Keano we're rested and Ronaldo and Giggs got their 1st full 90mins puts us in good stead.

Plus we've started pretty well so the team will be confident, unlike newcastle...

Anyway we've gotta win just to put yet another one over on Shearenvy!!

I dont think g.neville being injured is a big problem, brown can do well on the right or even oshea its just his big influence we will miss. Though keane and rio can bring that into the game.

Against the lesser teams this should not be a problem, but i really think that Newcastle will cause you problems.

Nope brown has exprience he isnt some nobody, the only thing that maybe in question about him, is his concentration at times but he will do a good job covering neville. Newcastle... ha cause problems thats funny considering they havnt even scored yet. United know how to handle newcastle trust me it wont be a problem. Im not usually this cocky writing off opposition but newcastle are an exception, they are a joke. Our attackers are gonna have a party raping their incompetent defence.lol

Only way Newcastle will get points if Shay Given shows up in his normal 'wait until we played United' form. He sometimes plays like the WE goalies against us! We'll get chances, I'd like to see Scholes net one, he should have scored last game, but his finishing was dead at keeper, a problem he had last year.

And as for injuries? Please, Gary's good but he's not the focal point of the team. I think Sulph may have read BBC's Mark Lawro's view of what will happen this weekend, when he said 1-1 with United suffering from injuries picked up midweek. If we do drop points, Neville won't have been the problem!

I really dont know, but i can see them working very hard and maybe a few briliant saves from Given and maybe a goal line clearance from Boumsong or Carr :p

Yeah it'd be good to see Scholsey get one, if him and Rooney are on their game we'll demolish them, remember the FA Cup last year we embarrased them!

We dont seem to thrash people in the Premiership these days. We seem to save those for Europe where goal difference isnt as important.

what the 4-2 at highbury last season!!

When we beat them 6-1 we we're flying, the league was won in feb/march...

the newcastle game was different, we'd just been knocked out of the CL by Real (5-4agg) and I think we we're chasing arsenal (we won the league that year) so to go to St James with that pressure, go a goal down then win 6-2 was/is pretty impressive...
