lol Smith is never given a chance to score enough especially only getting to come on for last 10minutes to run down the clock in midfield. Saha i agree with you on that point aswell as rossi looks too small and inexperienced. What i dont understand is why are United inactive in the transfer market?

I watched the game and these are my thoughts.
Van Nistelrooy looked very sharp! Great to see him back on form.
Rooney was great as always.
Park is good however he does not seem to show the type of lethal finishing that
Rooney and Van Nistelrooy have, but then again he is not a striker.
Scholes had a great game as usual.
Where is Rossi and how come he does not play at senior level yet?
The only one player on the pitch that looked a bit shaky was Fletcher, but then again i have never rated him highly.
The same goes for Silvestre.
Gary Neville was quite impressive also!
Ferdinand was blasting runs up into the attacking half of the field and helped to start some great moves!
Overall a good game which you can take positives from there were worries of the bad finishing last season however, i must say Sorensen was excellent!
What a shot from Scholes too! Just curved away!

We are currently still interested in buying Cicinho it seems.What I didnt understand was,if we were so interested,why didnt we get him before Liverpool showed interest in him? In the article,its good to know what the player had actually met and spoke with the gaffer.With Cicinho and Ronaldo on the right side,we could actually turn defence into attack literally in a matter of seconds.Read the news about Robben lately? He isnt quite happy to play the bit part,rotational role at Chelski,that poor lad,he should have come to us..hahaha.

No news from the United camp. Although I read that Ballack has been given 6 weeks to sort his life out by Bayern. I think he's a lost cause, but still can hope. Our first XI is still great, after the Arsenal Chelsea match, I'd argue the best first XI in the prem. But, we have no depth in certain key areas. I guess Rooney can play at the apex of the top 3 if Ruud is hurt, or behind them if Scholes gets hurt, but what happens when Rooney gets hurt?

I was told to wait and play with Lyn, instead of moving immediately and training without a game, the rest of the season in Norway will help me get more experience and maturity, while watching Manchester United games. That’s why Man U officials told me to remain at Lyn Oslo, that is no problem, I am happy that I have to be here for this season and may be by December I will move and start playing for Manchester in January.” To play with such world stars like that, I am very happy to be with them and it’s going to be fine. So by the sounds of it the lad is gonna be at United in Jan, he'll be a much needed addition to the midfield, apparently the lad is the real deal and won his permit under the "outstanding talent" rule...

To clear it up, nothing new on whether or not he's actually coming to United. Those comments were made before the big Chelsea v United thing, not recently. He's been ordered by FIFA to go back to Lyn, since our deal with him didn't see him move until January. So in theory he has to play for Lyn til then, after which time he'll come to United. But at this point, who knows really.
I'm wondering if he's even back at Lyn, or hiding somewhere, sucking his thumb, whining about his gold tipped bottle and wiping back his tears with a chelsea scarf...

Baptista, Robinho and Cincinho along with Carlos and Ronaldo already!!! lolz....if they all make the starting line-up, that's 5 out of 11 brasilian members!! hahahaha, well, they will have lots of co-operation and team work for sure!! lolz...

And I'm not sure if any of you know this but Sao Paolo is supposed to be one of Man Utd's feeder clubs. But then again, if that had mattered, we would have had Kaka in our midfield.
