Now that Pogba has gone i think Powell could make the 1st team this year, depends what happens with Anderson and Fletcher, also whether or not an automatic ist team midfielder is brought in.

Thats two promising signings so far, nothing to shock the footballing world but good for squad.

Haven't seen much of him at all but that's pretty outrageous expectations, I'll treat him like a Reserve player and wouldn't consider him apart of the squad that will be competing next year.

RIKE A BOSS!

1st team squad isnt that outrageous if he impresses SAF, not like its not been done before...

It's definitely possible for him to get into the first team, just look at Oxlade Chamberlain at arsenal, however if he's to continue development I would say a loan to Crewe is best for now.

Again how much of him have you lot seen? Of course he's impressed the boss that's why he's bought him but I doubt he'll be looking to be apart of the first team squad.

Comparisons to Chamberlain shouldn't be made at all unless you want to be dissapointed, one has skyrocketed into Englands first team at the Euro's and the fee Arsenal (who are cheap as anything!) paid for him shows how much interest their must have been for him.

Its awful indeed. last one I liked was 10/11 edition, its a piss take that they change them every year, the last two kits should have lasted a combined 4 years now last 2 and inevitably you end up with a not so nice one.

Euro's have kept my attention away from United's transfers so are we quiet for a reason or are we likely done :ANX:

Strootman? Seems like at least the right type of player. (as is Modric, obviously, but I don't think our pockets are deep enough!)

I'd take Fellaini.

Wouldn't surprise me if we were done, considering how quickly we got Powell and Kagawa done.

Can't describe how much I'm looking forward to seeing Shinji in our shirt though, so not actually that fussed if we do bring anyone else in.

We're gonna start the season 1 injury away from only having Scholes, Anderson and Cleverley as central midfielders.

That is suicide, imo.

Definitely need to follow through on te interest in Tiote or Strootman ASAP.

On a side note, why aren't united one of the teams looking to exploit the £7m release clause in Demba Ba's contract? With Berba set to leave (again) and Owen gone it would be worth adding a striker, and a proven record for £7m isn't too bad.

I wouldnt be surprised if we actually retained Berba for one last season.
He is still a quality forward.

I'd take Kevin Strootman or Rasmus Elm in a heartbeat...just to add numbers to the Central Midfield area.

I don't really want Strootman or Elm, nothing against either player but we need someone of a higher level otherwise we might aswell leave it.

Strootman is a higher calibre player than you'd think, much better than Eredivisie. He would fit right in and compete in the Prem, but again that's a opinion, really we should e looking for someone who is proven i.e Modric or Tiote, but we've seen risky moves pay off before, and this is a pretty safe move IMO.

And phrase I agree, it's a wasted transfer if we get him, we have Evra who is 2nd or 3rd best left back in the world why do we need someone who doesn't even feature in my top 5 left backs in the world, an wouldn't even break my top 50 defenders!

On a side note, anyone else think Hernandez has been a let down the season just gone? Maybe it's just a high expectation cause of his first year but I don't think he was half as good last year than previous!

Evra's been a liability for a while now. He needs a kick up the arse and some competition in his position would probably give him that.
