Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.
It felt more like a 442 to be honest, with Giggsy out wide left but a bit more withdrawn, Obertan out very wide right and the two through the middle.
We made a real meal out of it, but eventually won. Some woeful final passes and shots were what stopped us racking up the scores (and some good goalkeeper anticipation, to be fair) but what worried me was how easily they created chances.
Wes Brown and John O'Shea were defensively woeful, for the second straight match. Very odd when a Fulham reserve player and a Brazilian kid known for poofy hair and attakcing football are providing better defensive positioning then two established internationals. Complacency perhaps?
Oh and Berbatov was once again silky when he came on, created a few openings and spun a shot brilliantly against the crossbar (and possibly over the line, I couldn't quite tell, wasn't given). He really is looking up for it this year...
(and Scholes should have been sent off for two horrible challenges. so nothing changes)
