Really, is it? Surely Cronaldo must have paid Arsenal then, to win yet another award. You know he wants to prove his worth to all kinds of sexually oreinted people. Makes me wonder was it really a Girl whom he met in US or Beckham with some "changes" done:DD
 
Just when we think the weekend couldn't get any worse - AIG is in real trouble. Wouldn't be surprised to see our sponsorship...pull a West Ham :(
 
well, in a sense its good as we can get a better sponsor....and i'm sure it'll look TONNES better than this box with AIG in it...haha

but then, financially it might hurt us a bit....we are still under debt right?
 
I dont like it when we change sponsers, Even with the good chance that we'd get a better sponser due to our recent success. Kind of expires new shirts that have been purchased.
 
That's why I'd rather have a shirt with no sponsor on it. I hate people saying 'AIG' when they see my shirt over here. The sponsor is now the way to recognize club shirts.

Its true what Maru says...we have been doing that for a long time now and we dont need to tell the whole world about it.

Side news,Mickey Carrick has broken a bone in his foot and will be out for as long as 6 weeks.This will be a major blow as Carrick is a major player in my eyes.Hargo has problems with his fitness and we will have to rely on Scholes,Fletch and Anderson for first team midfielders now.
 
:(( Huge blow, no other CM we have gives us what Carrick does, Just watch the Liverpool match. Extremely underrated player

A shirt with no sponsors looks much better.

I used to put Barcelona's kits as number 1 in design, but since they decided to add unicef, It kinda lost that appeal IMO.

I know it's unicef, but it still ruins the shirt IMO.

And I hate my club's sponsor. :\
But it's an unfortunate reality, clubs need cash, but at least they could choose their sponsors based on more that just the amount of money they throw at the club.
(I know, it's a dream, but it doesn't hurt... :SMOKIN:)

BTW, when will Ronaldo be fully fit?
 
Update: Dimi Berbatov missed training yesterday but will be expected to be in the final squad to face Villareal.Ronaldo is also back in the team and is expected to make his mark starting from the bench.Another good news is that,Sir Alex may finally give a debut to Manucho who is fit again following his injury.

Everybody is back now except for Carrick who has been struck by the metatersal injury curse.

AIG aint going under its all political ...This country has been giving homes to people w/o jobs it`s only bad debt all political. AIG is willing to dance to the song thats all I h8 government

I wonder if he'll start Hargreaves alongside Anderson, or bring in Fletcher...
 
I'm not 100% on the rulings Dags, but wasn't Terry sent off for serious unprofessional behaviour ie waist high rugby tackling the man intentionally with no regard for the ball. Of course Vidic should have gone for the one on Keane,that was just shit referee-ing again. I thought at the time that the Terry one was a red and in my opinion it should have stood.
 
Terry's red should stand. It doesn't matter that it wasn't deserved. The decision should be final. If you can do this then technically you should be able to rule out 'mistake' goals.
Could Chelsea appeal that Vidic should have had a red and therefore should be banned? Why not? It's the same thing.
 
I know it's gonna sound all victim-mentality on here: but i really believe it's in the FAs best interest to see someone else win the league this year. I mean, the fixtures list is ridiculous, we'll be into October before we have a chance to get ourselves some 'easy' games to get into form. 3/4 first games are Pompey, Liverpool and Chelsea away? Those games are usually reserved for further through the season, once teams have had a chance to gel.

Then this Terry thing - I mean you've got to be kidding. Last year Robbie Keane not only took the ball in a legitimate challenge but even the player tackeld came back to say it wasn't a red - they can't overturn that. John (thank god i've got Rio or Carvalho or else I look as sh*t as I am) Terry rugby tackles someone, and that's now deemed, according to the rules, as not even worthy of a card. Plus I can't help but notice how quickly this has been processed, couldn't be possibly be so England's big man can be on display against United in London this weekend could it?

Presumably there was some exchange or rubles to pounds last night...

And if you Chelsea fans think I'm being stupid, can you imagine hte FA overturning a card for Rio Ferdinand? The Rio Ferdinand who served a longer ban for missing a drugs test by 24 hours than people who failed drugs tests?
