Yeah, but he's really missing out on his most treasured prize, the Johnstones Paint Trophy. I can see the urge to try and win it burning deep within him, and it may just force him to leave and persue it soon.

So with Fergie's comments I can't help but notice how much stink Wayne is getting, with some article from the Sporting life even claiming he'd be more advanced in his career if he'd stayed at Everton! I guess my question is: what do people really expect from him? Other than Ronaldo over the past 2 seasons he has more combined goals and assists than anyone. We lost what, 1 match last year with him starting? Add in his injuries and I think you'd have a good case that he's been as consistently good as anyone in the premiership, other than Ronaldo.

Yes he has a temper which is something I hate to see (moreso in a frackin friendly in S. Africa - wtf!) and he curses like a sailor, but he is a naturally gifted footballer with great vision and team ethic that is incredibly rare in today's game. I just can't fathom why he gets so much sh*t.

I think he's in danger of going down the Gazza route if he's not sorted... Not the self destruct thing but more the didn't ever realize his true potential, he does get alot of grief but then again he is English and we love to knock our own.
One or two great performences for England and all will be fine as far as the fans go...

:LOL: Some rumours eh! I think we'll get Berba, were just pretty much waiting for them to sign a replacement so Spurs can give the green light. Rooney needs to improve his finishing and somewhat taking on players, he was quality at the latter in his early days but he's worked on other area's of his game and needs to improve that now, also his finishing is somewhat poor, dunno how many times he got clean through last season to miss a one on one. If he adds those two things he would be up their with Messi, Ronaldo and Kaka.

Let's not start counting this as a genuine piece of silverware, it's not as though we're Liverpool or City,We'll stick to the big trophies.

Fuckin' hell. Isn't everyone sick of all this soap opera bullshit? Even football365 is just full of it now. I'll be so glad when the season starts so we can talk about football again.

To be honest who wouldn't but for some reason id love for us to win the FA Cup, I now some dont regard it that highly but we aint won it for a while and the bad memories of 05 need to be replaced :((

Ronaldo is staying and even though some may dislike him right now thats close to a signing in itself keeping the best player in the world here. Berba deal may be on or off, silly rumours were after Terry Henry again.:ROLL:

I'm skeptical about Henry but would be great if he could jump-ship.It has been revealed that he was close to join us a few months back before Pep Guardiola blocked the transfer.Might be on again,who knows.I prefer if we go for KJ Huntelaar.

Yeh i agree Met, but for 38M?! no fuckin way, He's not 23 years old he's 27, for 38M we can probably sign Eto'o for 20M and Sanchez for 18M. If Spurs accept a bid between 25M-30M il still think we got ripped off but i guess that comes with it whenever were in the market.

Still not sure we need him. Manucho up front causing problems because of his size would free up a lot more space for the others that they didn't have last year. His height also helps for crosses and knockdowns. A fit Saha would be ideal but he's blown his chance I think.
Any news on Manucho's work permit?
