It was medicore performance but its just run out really for match fitness.

Silly mistake from O'Shea to gift them a penalty few chances from us Vidic header pretty close. Rooney looked very unfit but whats new great cross from Tevez for Eagles to head in to make it 1-1. :))

Really thought was O'Shea did have it on net Stream though and was glancing back and fourth.

Camera focused on O'Shea thought he brought him down as he looked pissed off.

Yeah the camera was on O'Shea but the replay showed Neville clipping the guy's feet.

Rumour reports having it that Dimi Berbatov and Alexis Sanchez will sign for us next week for a combined fee of 40Mill Pounds.Lads might wanna youtube Alexis Sanchez and would definitely have in mind who he is going to eventually replace at United.

Berbatov seems likely and most will believe that but Sanchez is another story, where did you get the rumour from? SAF did say we were only after 1 player and i think that will be the case.

I put the Sanchez link on a couple of pages back. Apparently we bid a couple of months ago but nothing happened.
Believe it as much as all the others though. I posted elsewhere that Aston Villa have been linked with 123 players this summer and bought 1. Probably similar for us, too.

Its so annoying it really is the whole situation should of ended many weeks ago.

He saying now like you say Only god knows its not right he knows what he wants to do just say it and end all this crap.

He needs to apologize to fans and for club the way he mucking everyone around its not anybody elses fault but himself.

Don't think it matters what he says now, im convinceed that he's here for one year while we look for a replacement. Unless there's a huge twist were he comes out and says he's a cunt and wont leave United then thats the plan :))

I've been hard on Rooney
Sir Alex Ferguson admitted last night: I have made life hard for Wayne Rooney. The Manchester United boss consistently played his England hitman out of position last season as the club won the Premier League and Champions League. Fergie accepts the star’s goal tally suffered as a result. But now the Scot is ready to turn Rooney into a major threat once more by using him as a central striker. Ferguson conceded: “I think I have to take a bit of responsibility. He has sacrificed himself and never complained about it, which says a lot for the lad. We have to define his role a bit better for us. I think his best position is through the middle, either in a front role or tucking in just behind. He can play either role very well. He is aggressive, uses two feet, has good pace and the courage to go in the box. There’s no reason why he can’t get a good supply of goals."

Seems like finally SAF is going to build are team around Rooney, I think this certainly means Rooney will be playing his original support striker role behind Berbatov next season. :))

Since Ronaldo knows he won't be getting so much action, he thinks this is chance to capitalize on his sucess. Let's see if he can be a team player like Rooney.

funny it seems SAF concentrates and devotes his time 1 at a time..Ruud to Ronaldo and maybe Rooney Which I think Rooney`s downfall is his tempter and imo he`s as good as Agbonlahor :)) but w/o the temper

Your kidding surely?! Rooney was by most people regarded a better player than Ronaldo 2 seasons ago, but Ronaldo has developed a lot since due to being given preferences, If we do build our team around Rooney he could be as devasting as Ronaldo, if Rooney can capture the Euro 2004 form i truly think he would be regarded as one of the best in the world.

Euro`04 is 4 years ago Rooney had years to improve from that and Agbonlahor is a fantastic prospect he has speed,vision and a rocket foot Rooney has a better surrounding then gabriel no doubt

Beboq what you been smokin' mate!?!? Gabby is a good footballer, no doubt about that (I really like him) but c'mon, he's nowhere near Rooney. Remember, he's only a year or so younger and a couple of the things you said about him, personally I wouldn't attribute to him (vision and rocket foot).

He's got pace to burn, gets into good positions and exploits space and can finish well but apart from that, there's little else to him in my eyes. Rooney's a complete footballer, he works for the team, creates space, yeah he's got a temper but he's hardly Joey Barton is he!!?! He's just been a bit unfortunate in the last couple of years that Cristiano has been the main man and he's not shone like we may be expect him to.

When you've got coaches like Lippi dropping compliments that says something.

I`m not implying Rooney isn`t good for Manutd you lot won it all, but next season are we going to be saying it again he needs more time,or a bit unfortunate. Hey!! If Rooney can score 25 goals(including all ,and friendlies:-pp.) and 10 assist I`ll put rooney avatar of your choice for 3 months :))

Edit: if Gabriel had the guides and surroundings of Manutd he`ll be a top player

Maybe its just me but Ferguson doesn't look as confident this preseason as he has done in other preseasons gone by. The cracks are beginning show before the season even starts in the cement wall that is Manchester United. Ronaldo wants his dream move to Valencia sorted before the season kicks off, Rooney and Ferdinand are in the midst of bad breakups with their missuses (mate of mine who works as valet at Man U underground car park heard Neville and Carrick discussing this on the way into training) and Ji Sung Park hates the team after Giggs made a joke on the team bus ordering a number 41 with extra hot sauce and everyone on the bus laughed.

He should win FIFA player of the year and Best young Player of the year what injustice for Rooney :SS
