I probably didn't watch him as much as you did last season, but I remember him having several average games last season. But he's really come onto his own this season. Been just brilliant. Completely destroyed Liverpool at Old Trafford, with his passing into the space between midfield and defense. Tore us apart.
 
Agree Abhi, still can't believe he gets overlooked for England i think he's been a great signing, Antred i think its best you stop posting as its just looking to wind up some people so let it go mate its for the best.:TU: Great news with the contracts though was Suprised Wes signed but delighted he is a United player through and through!:DANCE:
 
I think Sir Alex saw the huge potential in Carrick when he was at Spurs.We did not have a player like him before and thats why we got him.His first season was good enough,he was integral to our midfield.This season,he has came out,justifying his potential.We all thought Hargreaves would be in pecking order ahead of Carrick but that did not happen.Who ever gets pick,does the job and Carrick does his job,particularly well at most games.Delighted that Rio and Brown has been tied down with long term deals now.Miguel Veloso and Joao Moutinho next? :)

Yup, same here. Him and Barry are the 2 English midfielders, who are actually suited to International football IMO. Both Lampard and Gerrard are one-paced, and thus can't play in midfield. Carrick certainly deserves a place in midfield.

I think either one of those two combinations would work well.
 
trying our best to fuck it up. Only just managed to get a stream and it's shit. You can see Rooney getting a red card the way he's going. We need a bit more energy in the middle.

Deserved point, just for the timewasting blackburn did in 2nd half...plus the great 'save' by the defender towarsd the end. Didn't deserve to win though .Sam eposition as if Chelsea hadn't dropped point against Wigan Ig uess..
 
If we draw with Chelsea we need one win against either West Ham or Wigan. Don't count your chickens though because Chelsea will win their last two games.
 
I agree mate, pressure is ALL on Chelsea now. We have enjoyed playing away this season when the opponents have been expected to score a goal or two. Roma anyone?

Good result today, we were poor today Rooney could easily have got sent off, credit to Blackburn they restricted us quite alot, i thought we missed Anderson in the middle he adds that urgency which we needed today. still with Chelsea dropping points its leveled itself out. Barca on Wednesday is the one to wait on know its gonna be HUGE for us. :) COME ON UNITED!
 
Agreed that we were quite poor.Bad referee decisions and a blinder of a game by Friedel also stunned us.Huge relief with that goal from Tevez...looks like one of those game where it just wont go in.Was hoping something like Ronaldo's mazy run and goal from last season at Fulham,instead,he hit the post.Still a huge point like many said here but we should not discount our last two games excluding Chelsea.We lost to West Ham away and Wigan held Chelsea at home.That should throw caution to the win.Bring on Barca...C'MON UNITED!!!
 
well done , brilliant game for the neutral, dont get this we were poor thing, maybe a little in the first half but the second was a hundred miles an hour, fridel was awesome as always, you could have hit 5 or 6 but for him, a brilliant point and looks like its all but over coz no one will beat you now.
