Manchester United Thread

yes your are being childish,

I agree, but at least I had profound provocation from unfair treatment by you and other people

you post alot like an old poster, how that is mean or how tht hurt your feelings i have no idea.
.

I am nothing like the poster who you have accured me of being (I did searches of the threads of the person you named) and I have been upset by the way you have treated me and the way other people treated me in this thread.

but i never called you a bad name or insulted you, not that i can recall. But calling me a cocksucker for no reason then your trying to start shit up is going to get a proper lashing back from me. Stop posting nonsense.

I see so what is this?

ninja is back ,that cheekey bastard.

From this thread;

https://evo-web.co.uk/threads/42802/page-2

You also hammered me in this and other threads because you have incorrectly labeled me as being some other poster who you did not like. You started the witch hunt of me in this thread that saw other people join you and call me dirt, and insulted me non stop.

All this has occurred because of how you and someone I don’t even know felt about one another.

Your feelings towards me and what you have done has been a disgrace and it is because I am blamed for the actions of someone else.

no i actually loved that poster. I think i started a thread asking him to be unbannend. And i thought you said you didnt know anything about that poster?
Your having a laugh with all of your saying i started a witch hunt. All you trying to do is to get me bannend, good luck with that. I have done nothing to provoke you into calling me a cocksucker, you have done everything to provoke me. Now please go to the everton thread or PM if you have any more issues, dont clog up this thread with your rants.

Oh my god :(

How insane are you being?

I just told you I did a search on his posts to find out what he was like because you insulted me and were saying I was him.

Do you not understand why I would do that?

If you were unfairly accused of being someone else and being called a cheeky bastard, would you not go and find out who it is you are being accused of being?

You can regard that last question as rhetorical, because you would do that, the same as I did.

I have no interest in you being banned- none.

But you have been guilty of the most disgusting attitude and abuse and you should be big enough to recognise this and your mistakes and apologise to me.

I have insulted you and others that abused me of course I have...because I have been treated badly.

I am not saying that is right, but I think anyone can see that it is understandable.

Trying to write off what you have done and act as though I am the instigator of all this is irresponsible and cowardly.

Vanzandt...just stop will ya? Create yourself a new thread and just wank all over it mate, not here for the love of God.You are trying to hard mate,go watch Miami CSI or sumthing.

What I should listen to someone who called me dirt?

You are as much at fault as gomito#10.

If you and him and runedge hadn't all acted like bastards with me you wouldn't be hearing any of this.

Well, there was a five minute flash of last season in around the goal time, and then other than that, it was standard, slow tat from us.

What has happened to the pace that got us 7?

i really dont think we can compare this season to the last, last season we hadnt won the league for 4 years and a already dominating Chelsea bought two of the best players in the world(:lmao:) so the team really had to fight for the right to still be english footballs top dogs with the passion we had last season was absolutely sky high in my opinion we where desperate to will the league and that attitude oviously carries over to all the competitions(except carling:lol:)but basically what im saying is that its not that the team isnt pashionate this season just not at the levels of last season

anyway about todays game we where average up until Tevez came on for me he really changed the game and also showed the Rooney and Tevez combo can be lethal,Nani was amazing today really showed his talents but even though this is optimistic and it was brief Anderson looked like he was getting close to the form why we signed him , i just remember one bit where he skipped past 2 or 3 and i thought he was gonna go the whole way:shock:

overall great night, 1-0 again :D but where getting closer to hitting top gear

P.S how could i forget Rooney's got his first goal and hopefully he can carry on going , played ok but the goal was class:applause:

Relax Van, your bigger then that my friend, take no notice

I think Sir Alex has pretty much squashed all hopes of another whitewash over Roma during the pre-game conference. The Roma team last night was a much stronger side than the one we faced last season. The learned well to cope with our counter attacks by packing men in the box. They werent so open either, choosing the right moments to attack us.

Still not convinced of Tomasz Kusczack.
Thought Nani played really well.
Sir Alex was right in not starting Giggs.
O'Shea looked sluggish at RB,which is disappointing.
Relieved that finally Rooney got off the mark.
Throughly satisfied at the result despite another 1 goal victory.

Roma were poor last night in my opinion. They just didn't want to have a go at United. I was very impressed by Tevez, he really changed the game when he came on. Nani was good but not great - he showed his lack of experience at times. Overall great result for the Red Devils. Top of the group.

How many games have they kept clean sheets for now?

ummmmmm they should have scored three times, totti missed a clear chance, epositio missed a wide open net, and wtf was guily doing in the box that one time... i didnt think they were poor at all, i think once again we were poor at finising off teams...

What did you even watch the game :l Roma played well and were unlucky to lose. And we should have got a pen, but we never :-/

To be fair to Roma they didn't want to end up where they were the last time they were at Old Traford did they? And after the Inter game keeping the game quite tight was probably key for morale add to that the fact that they did have at least three very good chances to score and take away a point.

I think Spalleti's and his players got the tactics right, did quite well and on another night would have got a point or maybe even all three points.

Roma's confidence should not be dented too much, they should be able to return to winning ways when they face Parma on Sunday and at least come second in the champions league group by continuing to take points from the other teams.

Could that be said if they had come to Old Traford and played a very open game early on?

Mmm not so sure, it could easily have resulted in a disaster in terms of result and morale that could have carried on into seria a...

I thought Totti played well as did Mexes and Di Rossi, the latter being their best player for me. Aquilani was also good, Esposito should have scored as should Perrota.

Good for Man Utd to get Rooney (brilliant the way he took the ball so early for the goal) on the score sheet and the best game I have seen Nani play to date, I thought he looked really good. Saha was a bit jaded and Tevez and Rooney looked better on this occassion.

Spalleti got it right for me, just as Ferguson did....one manager and team got the result, but in a way Spalleti did also as the season can continue well if they can get over this and beat Parma.

Fair point, maybe I didn't give Roma the credit they deserved. United are taking their VERY limited chances at the moment though and I know it's a cliche but that is what wins matches.

Roma will be MUCH tougher at the Stadio Olimpico.

Well the next matches they have a pretty easy so thats good :D

Anyway Totti isnt that happy I've just saw this :

Totti issues Ronaldo warning Wednesday 3 October, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roma captain Francesco Totti believes the Giallorossi were unlucky to lose to Manchester United and has issued a veiled threat to Cristiano Ronaldo.

The build-up to the Old Trafford clash was focused on the Eternal City outfit’s desire for revenge after last year’s 7-1 humiliation.

United’s Portuguese star Ronaldo intensified emotions by claiming that Roma players “begged him to stop” during the Magica’s night of ignominy.

Ronaldo went off bleeding after being struck by Mirko Vucinic’s elbow, but Totti has implied that he will receive much harsher treatment in the return game.

“We didn’t say anything to Ronaldo regarding his comments in the last few days,” Er Pupone revealed.

“I can assure you that the elbow he took from Vucinic was an accident, but now he has to come to the Olimpico…”

Luciano Spalletti’s side battled hard but lost 1-0 and were left to rue the referee’s decision not to award a penalty for what seemed to be a foul on Amantino Mancini.

“Compared to last season, we played much better,” Totti continued. “We controlled the pitch better and we ran the play.

“We even got a penalty that wasn’t given. All in all, we didn’t deserve to lose.”

Manchester United travel to Rome on December 12 and Totti will be determined to ensure that it is a nightmare before Christmas for the Giallorossi's new public enemy No 1.

A case our sour grapes I reckon. Also, Totti should have taken his chance yesterday.

Great post to be honest vanzandt. ;)

Couldnt Pique play in the holding role though? Sure i saw him play there for Zaragoza last season and made a good job of it.

I think Scholes will play there... maybe something like this

------------- Kuschzak --------------

Brown-------Rio-----Vidic--------Evra

--------------Scholes----------------

Ronaldo--------Rooney------------Nani

---------Tevez------Saha-------------

Scholes in a holding role? You gotta be kidding me marukomu...In all honesty,Sir Alex will place O'Shea with Scholes in the middle of the park.Ronaldo and Giggs on the wings with Rooney and Tevez upfront. If Brown hasnt recovered from his knock,Pique will play at RB.

I hope to see we run riot against Wigan. It just seems to be the perfect game for us to do so...Its a home game,no defensive midfielder for us,so we have to attack and no disrespect to Wigan,so far they are the 'smallest' club we are going to play against.
