Manchester United Thread

Scholes just booked for a dive and lucky not to get sent off for a tackle on Lampard...

Sounds like we're turning the pressure on now...

C'mon!!!!

fuck!!!!!

Ruud missed a pen......

He's missed a few this season, maybe a bit rusty after being out injured...

feck me, typical us this season.

Saha on for Scholes...

Chelsea the better team in the first half, saying that nealy every fecking team is better than us this year....

CMON!!!!

Before Ruud took the penalty I knew he was going to (uncharacteristically) miss it. And that's been the story of the 2nd half of the season: anything that shouldn't go wrong and can go wrong, will go wrong.

I had a sneaky feeling that Chelsea were gonna score from that questionable corner.

Huth off, 2nd yellow....

Cant see it making a difference though we've been SHITE!!!

We're lucky to still have a shot a silverware but theres gotta be an improvement next season, to play like this on the last home game of the season is a disgrace......

Ruud just scored!!!!!

C'mon!!

1 more game and we can finally call it a season how nmany peeps will be rushing to buy the season review i certainly will cos i reallly want to analyse the season

save ya self some dosh mate, Its been the worst United team for some time the football has been painful to watch at times....

The plusses are that considering we've got alot of young players, hopefully, next season they'll be alot stronger.

Fergies at his best with his back to the wall, and the pressure will be on next season....

Anyway Cardiff first, lets enjoy that and see if we can keep our Trophy winning ways...

Some stats to show that Arsenal aint all that :

the draw against Portsmouth (how bad are the pompey fans) stops them from beating our 91pts (38 game record).

they can't beat our 18pt winning margin.

they would need to score 27 goals in the next 2 games to beat our 97. (which they won't)

they need to score +8 in the next 2 games to beat our +52 GD. (which they won't)

Wake up mate, Arsenal ARE all that

if they dont lose in the next two games they will have gone a WHOLE season without defeat.

They are a class, class side.
a side which you are a few players behind, i may add

No idea why i spell manyoo like i do, just do :P

Well we certinly aren't anywhere near our own record. I think next season will be a better one for us.

Just think its weird that you go to the trouble of spelling it different.

No one is disputing they've been head and shoulders above everyone this season.

Just that I've seen us, get more points, score more goals, win more trophies in a season where we've lost games than they have in a season going unbeaten.

woy, dont I know it!!

yeah I'm confident we'll put up a good challenge next year and arsenals recent record of winning titles aint good when they have a decent challenge.

This season's concelation is that Arsenal didn't beat us.

nah fuck that!!

Regardless of what arsenal have done, if we'd played really well, challenged all season and still lost out to Arsenal and Chelsea I'd be worried but we've had our worst season for years still reached a final and finished third,

so for me the concelation is that we've been our own worst enemy and that can be corrected.

i cant believe you said that after Scholes! thats just asking for it!
I thought the first tem minutes united were playing some good stuff but overall lucky to get a positive result! RVN didnt look anything like his usuall self but he must be a bit short of fitness and i was expecting a kiss the badge celebration when he scored!?

Was I the only one who thought Fletcher did VERY well? I swear...I thought we didn't need Keane for today. Fletcher completely filled in for him.

He was making runs, hitting quality balls over the top, and his short crisp passing was very like Keane's. He was immense in the second half for us.

I would have also liked to have seen Ronaldo on the ball more.

Well anyway, it proves we can match Chelsea with a near FULL team.
