Manchester United are prepared to use Nicky Butt and Diego Forlan as bait to land Everton’s England star Wayne Rooney. Publicly the Merseyside club are claiming their teenage star is not for sale but a bid from United is imminent.

northstand hero whos talking about city, i thought this was a united thread! gazz22 "dunn is a one trick pony similar to ronaldo" do you actully watch football! ronaldo has the potential to be true great but at the moment he is no where near just take a step back from your beloved united and you will see there are far better players at the moment!

But in that list there aren't players like James Milner (younger than ronaldo ;) ), Glen Johnson, danny murphy, mellberg, sorensen, sean davis, kevin nolan, michael brown, carlton cole, henry camara.... and robben :D

Danny Murphy: Murphy has been very poor this season.

Henry Camara: Oh, is this the guy who couldn't score to save his life?

Michael Brown: Is average at best.

I'm not saying there are no players better than Ronaldo (both Milner and Johnson have impressed me) but these players are not.
 
cmon gazz22 i think you need to watch a bit more football mate first the dunn and ronaldo then this did you not see camaras goals yesterday and last week plus he has quite a good full international record!
 
if man u have had camara instead of ronaldo on the right flank during this season, they would have been in the champs lge semis....

We would have been in the semi-finals if Phil Neville hadn't conceded the foul that led to Benni's free-kick. We would have been in the semi-final if Tim Howard had pushed the ball away rather than giving it to Costinha. :l

and if the ref hadn't cancelled scholes' 2nd goal, and if fergie hadn't substituted fletcher, and if ruud hadn't missed his two great chances, and if djemba djemba hadn't started that match...
 
Which means your comment on having Camara on the right wing is irrelevant...

Didn't Ronaldo come on for a few minutes and had to be stretchered off? I'm sure Camara could've done a lot more in those few minutes. ;)

Nah the idea of Camara helping Man Utd into the CL semi final. Seems abit ridiculous. I could handle the idea of phil Neville being better than Ronaldo (only just) but comon now fellas!

I said that AT THE MOMENT Camara is better then Ronaldo. Stop.
The other thoughts were all funny examples, included the fact that Camara scored against boro...

It's a disgrace that Camara didn't beat Zidane to World Player of the Year. The only player who I can think of thats better than Henri Camara, has to be................Titi Camara. :D
 
sometimes he plays that role, just like sometimes giggs or scholes play up front
 
Ronaldo is a good player in a good team and therefore doesnt stand out as much. Camara is an average player in a crap team and therefore stands out. He's nothing special really.

Beetlebum,this quote just nearly killed me mate.Are u high on alcohol or sumthin man?? Henri Camara is better than C.Ronaldo???? At the moment?? If you look at goals in the premiership,Ronaldo,18 yrs old, has 3 goals from 12 matches while Camara,27yrs old,has only 5 from 24 matches he started!! Dosent that rings a bell in your head? Ronaldo in Champions League next season while Camara will be back home at Division 1.

All fine and well saying everything people say FOR Ronaldo is an opinion while acting like everything said FOR Camara is fact.
