What 'bout Keano, who has agreed to make a dramatic return to the Republic of Ireland team?

I think he took the wrong decision, he's too old to cope with both man u and ireland...

Feck me that match last nite was hard work, not the most enjoyable match I've seen but I s'pose thats been the case all season, saying that three points in the bag is what matters if we wanna get that 2nd place.

Hopefully with Ruud and Keano back for Saturdays trip to Fratton Park the performance will be alot better.

RUUD SWAP SHOP
Barcelona are ready to offer Man Utd £12m plus defender Carles Puyol in exchange for striker Ruud van Nistelrooy. Utd turned down an initial offer for the striker, who has a £28m buy-out clause in his contract, but Barca, determined to sign the Dutchman are pulling out all the stops. According to reports, they're willing to offer Spanish international Puyol, who was reportedly a target for Alex Ferguson in the summer, as well a significant increase in wages for the former PSV star. soccernet.com

Tempting for me if I was the Gaffer.I think Keano is making a wrong decision. His legs are tired enuff, remember that he still wishes to play for Celtic.Last hurrah at Portugal maybe? All the best El Capitan.

barcelona have dismissed claims that they may be prepared to offer central deffender cales puyol in a bid to lure ruud van nisstelrooy from old trafford.

It had been reported that the spanish club would offer manchester united puyol plus 12m for the dutch striker.

Vice-president sandro rosell said: "It is not true. But a top striker will be the top priority in the summer - and the best in the world if possible.

Don't think it's worth it, Puyol for Ruud. With Rio making a return next season, our defence will once again be rock solid just like the beginning of this season. Since Saha is the only other reliable striker, Ruud becomes our most valuable asset. :D

gotta say i was gutted when becks left, but if ruud goes i will be devastated
imo it would be a massive step backwards for us, he is simply to important to us. the only way i would let him go to barca is if they swap ronaldinho - but that aint gonna happen! :D

1-0 against Leicester. Ronaldo was superb again last night. Bellion was a little quiet. We also are now starting to miss Ruud a bit.

i am still undecided over the ability of bellion, i know he is young and hasnt had a real run in the team but what i have seen of him hasnt really impressed me. i dont think he is good enough for us tbh, hopefully the lad will prove me wrong but i dont see it myself :(

I think he is better when he is playing up forward. He can run on to balls using his pace and he is a decent finisher (a superb finish against Spurs). But when he is used on the wings he never really gets in the game.

yea he is definately better up front
hopefully he will imporve and become a good player for us, his first touch sometimes though is shocking!
to be fair he is very fast,
if he does improve technically he will be a good player.

Why're you laughing?
Rio is a solid defender, top 3 in the world

sorry guys, Rio ain't all that and he's definitely not worth the money your man fergie paid Leeds for. I definitely rate Campbell or Woodgate more (even though the latter is a racist scumbag)

No defender is worth the money Ferguson paid us for, but I rate Ferdinand as the best english defender...

think wot you like pal, rio is crucial to us and thats wot counts
look at our form this season with him then without him - the facts dont lie

That's because Rio is banned. ;)
I don't really think without Terry, Chelsea would be conceding as many goals as we did earlier.

And hmmm... Rio is worth the money, we had the best defensive record when he was playing.

im not Rio's biggest fan but ill admit hes a good defender
i dont think theres much between him, sol, terry and woodgate at the moment
England have some very good backup

Rio is still to prove himself to the majority of United supporters but he is a class act with him our defense was solid, best record for last years Championship and the best this year until he was banned.

IMO Wes Brown is a better defender than Rio, the past few games he's been outstanding, he's won more aerial challenges since hes been back than Rio has in nearly two years.

wot does any know about this
