i wanted chelsea to win because some of the arsenal fans i know we're all big headed that they were gonna win the treble and the shifting of power. YAWN the shift of power IMO doesnt happen until arsenal or any other team win the premiership 9 times regarding man utd dont win it again until the other team does win it 9 times

Soif we won it for 4 years in a row, that would give us 6 titles but even though we would have won the league 4 years running you'd still be the power.

i wanted chelsea to win, out of the two i would rather see chelsea go through as they have a good number of british based players

And besides Arsenal are currently MY main rivals as a Manc fan cos they are the best competition, and the best team (asides from us obv). It used to be Liverpool but until they are actually good again I have more sympathy for them than anything..

Now Chelsea have knocked the Arse out I want Monaco to stuff them, which they will...

no mate gooners are really dull thats why we have no rivalry with them.

Of course as profesional players the teams are rivals but as supporters arsenal, compared to the passion at the games between leeds/liverpool/city/chelsea (most hated london team) and to a lesser degree bolton, arsenal just dont register mate your to far away for us mancs to give a shit.
 
WHy do you want Monaco to crush us? Surely you would want a British club to win the Champions League so that the EPL would be more respsected. Not that it isnt already.
 
i hope chelsea win the champs leeg, manyoo win the FA cup (with Keane stamping on Wise's head a few times along the way) and arsenal win the league
im telling you, if chelsea win the CL no player imo will turn them down

People moan about Highbury, but the atmosphere last night was electric. Can you generate enough passion then at OT when you have gob full of prawn sandwiches??

I agree even where I was sitting there was lots of noise and the east and west upper tiers aren't renowned for there singing.
 
Why not? I have no disrespect for Manchester United FC and their fans, I would support them to win the Champs Lge if they were in the Semis, come on England, thats my policy. However, my respect for ARSENAL, is a different story ;). Sorry, but i just simply hate Arsenal. So if you heard screams from Hong Kong wherever in the world you are, it was me expressing my joy eccentrically when Wayne Bridge scored.
 
i personally hate manyoo but i think everyone has to agree how refreshing this season has been up to now
with chelsea through to the semis of the Cl and the 3 horse race in the prem, its been a change
i wouldnt bet against chelsea going out and spending another 100mil in the summer on 2 or 3 players like totti and samuel

Of course, it counts. You guys got a chance of playing some of the top teams in the world like Newcastle, Birmingham and not to forget Malaysia! =D>

Liverpool fans would definitely count that as a major trophy. :mryellow:

fergie has denied his interest (as reported in the press) in Van der Vaart.
shame really i would have loved him to join the club, especially since that little prick robben stabbed us in the back

He is a great talent, but we already have Scholes and plenty of other midfielders, I can only see him coming if we have a mass clear out in the summer. To be honest, I can't see that happening either, I could only see Fergie letting Butt go. I want to see more of Kleberson and Djemba and of course, we've got Miller coming for next season too. Call Fletcher a central midfielder too, and we're already over crowded.
 
yeah fair shout that, we have got a lot of qualty midfielders. but van der vaart plays as a striker aswell doesn't he? like the 'aimar role' if u know wot i mean, just off the main striker, i think he would terrific for us in that kind of postion.
but tbh i would love us to sign a top defender to help us in that area, brown and silvestre anre now doing a great job but i think we do need a big name defender to help us progress
