I'd laugh till the cows come home if we got Gerrard.

Especially for the matches when Liverpool really need him and he'd be stuck on our bench.

While Anderson is no Gerrard either...Honestly there are only a few players out here in the Premiership who can pick up a dead game and win it for their team and Gerrard is one of them.I bet he is 'suffocating' by the fact that Pool relied on him SO MUCH and yet they are no where near the top 2.He should move on to anywhere else but us.

I think it'd be good for both liverpool and stevie g (and England!) if he went to Italy or Spain. I actually think Italy would be better, as a footballing education. He's not that old, and a great player, but needs to be a cog rather than the motor to truly be world class. Any of the big Italian teams need a CMF...?

We have started really well against Fulham with Saha getting a great chance to put us in front early. Although saying that Van Der Sar just made a brilliant save.

No Rooney or Ronaldo and THREE NIL AWAY. We are VERY close to closing in on Arsenal now who can't even buy a win!

Forgot to add: Our goal difference is far superior to Arsenal's again. They only need to slip up ONE MORE TIME and we will pounce; we are looking good at the moment:

Man United 4-0 Arsenal
Lyon 1-1 Man United
Newcastle 1-5 Man United
Fulham 0-3 Man United

Lyon at home next then Derby away in the league (I think we'll murder them) followed by Bolton at home (another game we SHOULD win) whilst Arsenal have to go to Wigan, at home to Boro then AWAY AT CHELSEA!

Don't be so confident. If this season is anything to go by, even a 5 point lead for either team is no guarantee as the general quality in the mid table teams has improved. I think it might go down to the last couple of games.

And Chelsea are sniffing behind.

Oh, how I wish we were up there :(

I am confident for a valid reason though. We haven't just been beating teams, we have been BATTERING them. You are right, this title could be won from one of three clubs but I still feel there is something missing from Chelsea & the pressure is ALREADY telling on the Arsenal players' faces and we are only into the beginning of March.

Plus, the strength in depth of our squad is better than it has been in previous seasons.

Same could be said for Arsenal just a couple of weeks ago, when you lot lost to City. That's the kind of season it has been.

Having said that, at the moment, I would put my money on United to win the title. But that could just as well change after a couple of weeks.

We have the squad, a great mixture of experience & sparkling youth, one of the best players in the world and we've been there and got the t-shirt dozens of times. My issue with Arsenal is their squad; I look at it and see a lot of good players but something is not right. Adebayor's squabbles with Bentdner, Gallas freaking out last week and KICKING Nani the week before, Senderos & Walcott look out of sorts, Wenger's tired old excuses...

Potential champions are made of sterner stuff that's for sure but like you have said, ANYTHING can happen in football. We have to get a result against you lot at home in a few weeks and we all know the United v L'pool fixtures can NEVER be predicted.

At least the title is being fought for between the two most stylish football teams in the country. Before, it was Chelsea grinding out results, now it's different, although Chelsea are still in the frame.

I think it's simple with Arsenal's squad, they don't have the depth that United or Chelsea have. I still don't get why Wenger didn't buy a center half in the transfer window. And they have been shocked with what's happened over the last few weeks. Wenger needs to sort it out ASAP.

We keep winning now, and hopefully, we'll be in first come May.

Arsenal are doing a Chelsea of last year though, stealing results in the last minute or two, its bloody annoying!

A mate of mine who works as janitor at Craven Cottage told me that apparently Ferguson had a nervous breakdown after the game and threw a boot at the face of Rooney, then ordered pizza and scattered it all over the tunnel, C Ronaldo got in his face about it and Fergie yelled back at him, some spit came out of his mouth during the roaring and landed on Ronaldos face and Ronaldo flopped to the ground pretending it was a headbutt, the whole team witnessed it and it looked so real that now they have turned their back on Sir Alex and there is disharmony in the dressing room. Everyone except Rio Ferdinand and Nani who were too busy celebrating in the showers drinking champagne and making unwanted sexual advances toward a young woman.

:) This is where i come in and say i think we can win it etc ...but i can't predict this season anymore its just to wide open only 2-3 weeks ago i was starting to kiss the title goodbye with being 5 point behind and not looking in great shape as Arsenal cruised past teams but its all changed since were only a point behind and the team in form...i personally give up predictions its too difficult but what a season so far and it will only get better :applaud::DANCE:

Don't count out Liverpool guys; Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea could possibly lose all their remaining games and Liverppol win all theirs with Gerrard as Quarterback
