Manchester United Thread

Same here DjDoc.We should be able to brush them aside without their 'star' player Joey 'Thug' Barton.Side news which is brilliant in my opinion. We are seriously looking to secure Micah Richards from Citeh to succeed Gaz Neville.Smashing, monster of a player in my eyes. The best thing is that,Richards himself is aware and excited about signing for us.

Living in a dreamland mate! Especially about the Micah bit...:lmao: do you believe everything you read in the Mirror? You should know by now when everything is agianst us thats when we turn up!

MACK, hopefully you dont like Chelsea as much as we dont and you will do us a favour :)

I expect it to be tough, But I think with us possibly clinching the Title this weekend if we do beat City as an incentive should be enough for us to actually do it.

Dj

You will beat city and we will beat Chelsea - so Congratulations on the Premiership.

You will beat Chelsea to the FA cup aswell.

Hopefully we can do what you did this season - if we do I will wet my panties!!

Here, here marukomu! Back on the Micah issue on one of the city sites i go on a lad who lived with Micah until a couple of months ago did a interview where we could ask him questions..

The highlights included:-

Q.Does he and his team mates hate the rags as much as the fans???

A.I WOULD NEVER PLAY FOR MANCHESTER UNITED now that ive played for city, i know what it means!

Q. Is this really you?

A.

:)

Haha, I'd love it if someone had asked him what Joey Barton's really like and he replied saying "he's as soft as shite, lovely fella, I don't know why people think he's a thug" :D

no you diddnt try! most manu fans would agree so what are you on about? if manu are soooooooo good than they should at LEAST be team where NO one outplays them that badly
Of course they tried, it was just that Milan played better, on the day. Because Milan didn't have to concentrate on their league, because Inter have already won it, they could afford to rest players, unlike Man Utd because of their battle on three fronts and their injuries. A good team is consistent, that's why Man Utd are top of the league. Arsenal, on the other hand, are not consistent. As well as beating Man Utd home and away, they've lost to West Ham home and away, lost to Sheff Utd, Man City and Fulham to name a few. After a brilliant fightback against Everton, where the players gave everything, the same players pretty much had to play against a Milan side much better than Everton. Our defensive frailties were there for everyone to see, especially with a rusty Vidic, who looked like he desperately needed match fitness. Nontheless, we can still end the season with two trophies, which, if we achieve them, will be a better trophy haul than the rest of the top four, even if Liverpool win the Champions League.

i expected it to be a scrappy and crappy game.

could have been a 1-1 result, but all thanks to a shit penalty.

Fuck me. How shit was that game? Great result though.

What did you expect. the teams knackered.

We still won. League is ours now. I am just hoping it 2moro as players need a rest for FA cup final.

Especially Ronaldo.

Saha is off in the summer.

Heard it hear first.

yeah it was a fucking disgrace, he will get banned by the pfa cus of it

Left a pretty bad scar too which was seen at the end when Ronaldo took his shirt off.

Great refereeing from Rob Styles. Michael Ball stamps Ronaldo, didn;t see it, didn;t ask linesmen. Fine. Interesting penalty on Brown, moved out of the way as, guess who, Michael Ball flew into him, with no control of the ball. And finally, Ryan Giggs, who committed 1 foul all match, got a yellow card out of no where, whereas every city midfielder pulled tugged, sliced and diced the united counterattacks. I realise hes got a bit of weight to get around the pitch, but good lord he was abhorrent.

Come on you gunners *throws up violently*
:)

Well apparently, from what I heard on the radio (v AC Milan, 2nd leg), Ronnie is prone to kicking out at people himself (hence the avatar)... The commentator was going mental, saying that he kicked out at somebody, and then when the referee didn't notice it he did it again 10 seconds later...

I'm saying nothing else because I didn't see it with my own eyes, but if it's not true then that's the first time I've heard a BBC journalist lie through his teeth.
