he needs service, ruud cannot play without that, and the dutch havent been good about giving him that...

You're right. Robben is a greedy bastard. he's like the kid at school that you hate because he thinks he's great and tries to do it all himself. When he scores, he usually runs off a celebrates alone. I twatted a fucker like him in the 2nd year.
They need another Bergkamp really.

oh yes you're right even he's a chelsea player on this point i can't defend him
the guy did it several time this year when he has to cross the ball to drogba he always prefers to shoot
he 's one of the most selfish player i know

I think Sir Alex should 'shop' at Juventus early...theres gonna be a big sale there once Juve is confirmed of relegation.I dont mind Gigi Zambrotta,Mauro Camoranesi or even Paddy Vieira joining us.Haha.

Another one of our targets seems to be heading elsewhere.Didier Zokora has apparently joined Mighty Spurs! News today reported that we are heading the race to sign Nando Torres...we and chelsea I might add.

Ruud's calling for talks with Fergie and Co, lets hope that Fergie's phone is working wherever he's relaxing. I feel a bit for Ruud, his confidence must be completely shattered after being dropped for both club and country, but I firmly believe the best situation for United is that we assure him he'll have his place next season, and he can head off for the off season and train hard, get that extra step back and hopefully return ready to accompany Rooney up front.

If he has any sense he wont go Chelsea. May as guarantee himself football by coming to us.

We will probably get Carrick then.

sky sports says c.ronaldo has told the spanish press he is ready to join real madrid.

:(!

Didn't he just sign a contract extension? Even if he fetches a ton of cash, it's only useful if there are people to buy with it. As much as he frustrates I do have high hopes he'll turn into one of the most dangerous attacking players out there.

Who at Real would we want really? I wonder if Marca are making stuff up, as Ronaldo did say no more than about a month ago his future was at United for now.

that was then, this is NOW. haha.

oh well, let's see what materialises.

If he wants to leave then let him. Will get at least 25m for him.

Maybe use that for Duff???

It'll depend on who wins the election. The other candidates are "promising" to sign Adriano, Fabregas, Diarra, Reyes & Joaquin as well as Ronaldo.

I'd be sad to see him go, but don't believe the hype! Well, not yet anyway...

For me its bullshit. What Real done is illegal like they did with Kaka. They contacted the player without United's permission (we think). They did the same with Kaka but Milan brought them to court and so they're not allowed to bid for him anymore. He also signed a contract extention to 2011 2 days ago.

These elections are a joke. They promise players year after year like Vieira, Gerrard, Shevchenko, Kaka... but never succeed. The only stars they managed to bring are the over priced south Americans who dont have clubs with holding power.

I agree with you Milanista. Last year they were going to sign van Nistelrooy, though for some strange reason they aren't interested this year...

I was just reading on Sky Sports, and Sanz reckons he will present 4 contracts of new players on Thursday - 2 from Inter (Adriano & Cambiasso maybe?), 1 Portugese (Carvalho) & 1 Englishman (Ashley Cole).
It has to be BS as they'd surely get sued for illegally approaching players, and where have they got the money to fund it?

It's no more true than us here speculating on who we'd like to see at our own clubs!

They've got more chance of making Ronaldo (R9) slim...

I think its good if he goes, we need someone who doesnt just do step overs, runs for a little bit then falls over! or someone who takes stupid snap shots and cant produce a cross to save his life! We also need a team player and he isnt as far as im concerned. So I wont be sad to see the back of him. We then need a decent right winger who can produce quality. Quality = Manchester United. Another reason why Fletcher shouldnt play either! he isnt Man United material.

Since Spain is out of the WC,we can now possible up the ante on the Nando Torres bid.I heard we are looking at Maksim Kalinechenko,Ukraine's right side winger.Remember Andriy Kanchelskis? Plays kinda like him.

Kalinechenko has been one of hte players of the tournament, his crosses are top notch and he never stops running. He may never be one of the best players in the world, but he might just be more effective than Ronaldo on the wing.

I am better than Ronaldo as i can cross! ;)

Kalinechnko has played great tho & apparently no more than 5m.

i don't think it's real.. cause i think the United logo will have a black shield behind like the 1999 champions league final united wore. it's retro for Nike.

haha.. and also.. US$30 to win the bid? if i got hold of united kit now.. i'll put US$100

and if i'm wrong.. and this is really the united kit.. i guess this will be the first time i skip a united home kit.

Ronaldo has too much potential to give him away. Its still too early to judge him right now. The best thing to do would be to buy more experienced wingers or cheaper alternatives who can get the job done and also help Ronaldo improve.
As for Torres, I honestly cant see us having both him and Ruud in our team together. We'll either have to sell Ruud to fund the Torres transfer or keep Ruud. I know I've said this a million times but WHY CANT WE TELL SAHA TO F*CK OFF INSTEAD?!?!?!?

i don't know why you are so keen OF getting rid of Saha??I think he has done well so far despite all his injuries,he can score, play on a wing, keep the ball,he got pace so what wrong with him??

We need Saha at United...he is a proven player in the premiership and Sir Alex didnt sign and give him the number 9 for nothing. We now only have Rooney,Solskjaer,Saha and Ruud as first team forwards and among this 4 I can only see Rooney and Saha staying put at OT for years to come.

Saha's overrated. He doesn't look up when he has the ball, and if he has time before a shot it's 99% likely he'll miss.
We need to be ruthless and replace several players. Solskjaer isn't the player he was, and Fergie likes to put him on the wing when he plays, instead of up front. Central midfield also needs looking at as Smith isn't ready yet, O'Shea does an OK job but he's better in defence. And Silvestre might as well lay on the bench with a pillow & blanket for how often he goes to sleep during games!

I think we need to get rid of Saha, Solskjaer, Fletcher, & Miller, and I'd like to see Torres, Joaquin, & Mascherano come in, as well as giving Rossi some more games.

You could see we were getting back on track near the end of last season, so some minor tweaks and we could be back to toppling Chelsea...

It'll probably never happen, though it'll be interesting to see what happens...

Isnt it unworthy of mentioning something thats probably will never happen? I am sick and tired of reading posts like that.We are not Chelsea or Madrid and Sir Alex is not playing Football Manager.Speculation is one thing, official is another.I am sure we all cant hardly wait to read the next piece of transfer news involving United but the best thing now is to,errrmmm...wait.

Fernando Torres is just a moment away from signing for United. It seems it could be 40M€ or 30M+ RVN.
