makoun is the guy that ran the park with us when we lost to illie in the champions league, very fast and very determinend player, reminend me of an gattuso...

i believe that is %100 acurrate, only because they played in the rose bowl after it was expanded, the 94 world cup would have had more, had the stadium been the same size...

Our club is ENGLISH and always will be. I don't hate Americans, they just make me laugh when it comes to sport because most of them haven't got a clue, eg. "Have you seen *insert player name here* he is fucking sick!"

yes i have been to plenty of United games, infact im a season ticket holder... RFK stadium is the greatest tail gate in the world.... :)

Didier Zokora,Jean Makoun,Momo Diarra and Esteban Cambiasso.These are the latest defensive midfielders to be linked to us.If Diarra decides to go to Madrid,I'll have Cambiasso any day.I've only seen bits and pieces of both Zokora and Makoun's play but Cambiasso is a proven player in the La Liga,Serie A and the Champions League.

Lots of players going out...surprised at Neumayer, as captain of a rather successful reserves team, would have thought he'd get a chance. Oh well, we have other players in his position I guess.

Given the £24m 'war chest', the £10m from Obi Mikel and anything we get for Foster/other loans - we should have someo serious spending power. Which is only useful if there are any players around we want to buy :(

Where does this comes from? Are you mad son? Sir Alex doesnt need to go now.He is still doing fine here at United.All these release of players are not his sole decision definitely and it has to do with having a fixed number of first team and second stringers to work with,lets not talk about the wages here.
 
David Gill has been spotted in Milan on several occasions of late, apparantly scouting Gattuso. Anyone heard anything more on this?
 
I'm thinkin a possible Gatusso for Ruud switch - Milan are going to need a new striker when sheva leaves. Not sure how that'll treat us, I still want to see Ruud in Unitd's red next season, especially if we get a decent midfield supplying him...
 
If we get Drogba and Gallas from Chelsea, I doubt we'd switch for Ruud, especially if we have 2 other strikers who play just like him. I think we might let Gattuso go and get Diarra since we've been on to him for a while.... would love that.
 
Milanista - How did Guttuso play for you last season? Does he still give 100% every game?
 
Started poorly, then got better. I seriously doubt he's leaving, we dont hear any news on that since last summer. Now that Sheva's left, he is the new captain for sure.

Yeah I wouldn't sell Gatusso if I was Milan - I have always rated him. He will make a good captain I agree although if we did sign him I would be one happy United supporter!
 
I think when Gattuso leaves he will come to Rangers on a free, I dont expect it for a few season but I he has always said he would like to come back. Also the fact his other half is from Glasgow would help.

Ehhh what the fuck are you talking about?!!? No need to disrespect a quality player in likes of Makoun and a solid DMF in Zokora when clearly you or your scouts haven't heard about them until now due to your own lack of knowledge and incompetency.

When your club goes out and starts signing avg to semi- decent players like Djembax2, Bellion, Kleberson and Quinton Fortune yet your damn media and club at first wants to make these sound like some 'super heroes with amazing potential or ability' to justify their signings and over-rated prices and hype them up to death, its your own damn faults for believing whatever the hell the stupid media says without having the proper knowledge yourself to recognize like I do whether this guy that's getting hyped right now is actually any good and deserves the hype around him or whether he's being massively over-rated and will not deliver like I knew would happen with Djembax2 just to name one!

Makoun is an extremely hardworking CM who can defend and attack, has immense stamina, all-round good level of ability and looks to get better with each game in last 2 years! It's also not a NEW thing at all that he's talented, it's been known for few of us who actually follow these other leagues closely without disrespecting or having narrow-minded view on them for nearly 2-3 years now that he has a lot of potential and lately he's been seriously delivering on those promises of potential spotted earlier.

But after all he must be shit because his reputation is not as big as Ballack and you've never heard of him :roll: yet he's the same player who even on a somewhat 'off-day' among a group of Lille players who in October and November even with a couple of key players and captain injured and in somewhat of a crisis and in bad form and low confidence (Due to under-achieving in league at the time and having trouble gelling) still had enough to overcome your mighty club! :roll:

Finally if you're a real fan which I know you are ;) who wants the best for club, you must ask yourself, is this about you signing "Name-players" with big egos and reputation so your club can get richer off merchandise? :lol: or do you actualy want quality signings which might improve your side and help the team's chances for next seasons on the pitch? If that's the case then I suggest you stop disrespecting players you've never even watched 10 full matches from!!!

Although I agree with the points you've made, how the hell can you be please with a signing like Makoun when your opposition is signing the likes of Rosicky, Shevchenko and Ballack?
