Wow, thanks alot Sulph!

Thought United were lucky for a 2-0 scoreline. Should have added one right at the end, but Everton snuck in behind for headers 3 times...pretty poor defending. Plus United didn't really play posession football, looked pretty poor IMO. But I guess a wins a win.

Ahh yes,throw in the banter...Great result for us,should have gotten that 3rd goal for the icing on the cake.The clean sheet with Ruud and Rooney getting the goals are important factors in this game...Its a good start & good win for us.Back to Villa vs Bolton for me,first 15 minutes and its 4 goals already,crazyyyyy...i missed the premiership!

Actually just once, off a deflection from Bent's shot. United actually hit the post once too....

Everton did have a bunch of headers saved by VDS though, which should have been put on target rather than straight at him. But I'll take 2-0 thank you very much :)

Yeah I though Rooney said last season he wouldn't celebrate if he scored at Goodison. I was a little dissapointed tbh. Oh well, i guess its good he's pumped up. Oh and Cahill is really annoying, must have learned some things from Mr. Wise when he was at Millwall...

Park was great!!! nice game!!! but sad how the defense was really quite poor....we really need to improve that!!!

but great game nonetheless!

great game for the red devils. Rooney and van Nistelroy was sensational. Ji-sung Park did OK. Park played exceptional, he should have scored at least 1 goal in the game IMO. Everton did awful, especially after the mistake from the backline.

If Park scored today, he would definitely secure his spot on the squad. Van dar Saar was superb in goal. he came up with some excellent saves that saved Man Utd early in the game.

Na i dont think he could secure a first team place? Over Giggs and Ronaldo? No chance, hes prolly gonna become a super sub ad someone had stated.

Injured on Tuesday and it flamed up. He was kicked round alot on tues.

Probably not too serious, thats why.
We didnt need him anyway. Everton were pretty physical and had many reasons to step up their game. I'm sure the next few games will be easier.

Park definitely looks promising, shame he couldn't finish today tho.
Silvestre needs replacing- but I've said this before :)

After seeing Carrol playing for Hammers I felt renewed happiness SAF ditched him!

Glad Man U won but was most impressed by Darren Bent for Charlton and, more so, Nigel Reo-Coker for West Ham. Both promising young (think 22 & 21) English players.

I got a feeling that if either Howard or Carrol was playing for us today we might not have won, even more likely with Carrol.

I said the same thing outloud when VDS saved a header.

Howard is quite good actually . Its Carrol that sucks.

Park is definately looking like he's gonna improve. He already has the abilities that are harder to develop. I'm really liking him.

Park will develope or adapt to the EPL later in the season. If you watched him when he was at PSV you would know. It will take some time for him to get use to the EPL pace.

He'll be a great red devil, don't worry.

That only normally happens to players that lack place, Park isnt one of them.

Anyway, im pretty sure that he will become a good signing in the end.

He just needs to adapt to the physical side of the game. Atleast it was good to see him jump right up everytime he was knocked down.
