Manchester United Thread

I like Danny based on interviews etc, seems to be an exemplary young guy. However, the more I see him play the lesser my confidence becomes in him turning into a great player. Seems to be another guy who's a victim of being way overhyped. And no I'm not basing this on that particular video or the exhibition game. I hope I'm wrong.

You get the feeling Zaha is going to hold the ball and wait to dribble past players. Identical to Nani ! I like his efforts though.

Were you get that idea from? considering our wide options I can't see him being anything but a breathe of fresh air.

Yeah he'll have off days but I think you can already see the talent, I suspect he'll have a fine debut season for those with realistic expectations. The ones that expect 'Ronaldo 2.0' will be disappointed but that's nothing new.

New Day, New Dreams.

Cesc Fabregas eh?

We must contact the club somehow, they seem to have accidentally bid on a midfielder.

What glorious posturing bullsh*t from United. Oh we missed out on the Barca midfielder we really wanted? It's cool, we'll bid for one who is happy there, on a good contract and shown no reason to leave. And is 27. And is an Arsenal fan.

Can't see what we wouldn't fail in that bid.

While we're at it, I also think we should submit a £15.50 bid for Messi. I mean you don't know until you ask right?

It almost feels like this is done just so after another club gets the player we could say "at least we tried"...

"Manchester United submit $39m bid for FC Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas" wow I feel like thats way to much ! Fabregas will never be as good as he was at Arsenal with united ! and maybe I'm wrong but dosnt fabregas play in same possision as Kagawa ?

Everytime I've seen the stat reported today the price has risen by 1m quid.

Fabregas was, albeit briefly, the best player in the premier league before he left. Right age, right position, right mentality. Perfect.

But greater chance of me turning out against Swansea than him on the first match of the season. Not even worth worrying about.

FIFA has published a list of six players expected to shine in season 2013-2014 ...

1. Neymar
2. Lamela
3. Moura
4. Gotze
5. Isco
6. ADNAN JANUZAJ

its this true ? since I read on some Albanian web than it can be a lie too :-P

Considering Barca have lost Thiago, I find it pretty much inconceivable that they'd sell Fabregas, esp. since Xavi is a year older.

Great, so now Rooney is 'publically' upset. I don't blame him. I've no idea what Ferguson was doing, and now what Moyes is continuing. How hard is this? It's like working in any other profession. Sit down as grown adults and talk it out, agree on an outcome and then move on.

It seems to me like no one is f*cking talking to each other on either side.

Sometimes I seriously question how we're run. I know there's more public interest in United than any other club in England - and moreso that 95% of people in the UK would like it to be bad news - but it's just ridiculous how poorly some of our football related activities are handled and communicated.

Can't we get those geniuses doubling our commercial revenue every year to start applying their giant craniums to sorting out the football side? It's just depressing.

If we lose Rooney and don't sign a class, ready to go midfielder we will finish 4th or 5th this season. No doubt in my mind.

We're one injury away (that bastion of fitness that is RVP) from being mediocre in midfield, mediocre on the wings and mediocre up front.
