Re: Manchester United Champions Thread!!!19!!!!!
No, if you read through earlier posts you'll see my point about City doing it with established, senior internationals is the problem.
Surely you can see the difference between fielding, say, Ritchie De Laet and Emmanual Adebayor?
Obviously you can't have loanees playing against their parent club, the incentives are wrong. Historically it hasn't been a problem because generally loans were for young players looking to gain some experience.
With City's unlimited spending on wages, they can buy players they don't need and loan them back to other competitors. See Santa Cruz or Jo or Wayne Bridge, or Adebayor. These aren't unproven 20 year olds that may or may not even be in matchday squads, these are players the teams will be built around.
In about 12 months time (or even January) we're going to see the same happening with Milner and possibly Barry. And since no one else will pay the ridiculous wages of City, those players will be loaned out, subsidised by the Sheik.
But hey, who cares right? You've got your sugar daddy so fingers in ears na-ne-na-na-na etc. You will win the league, likely this year. So congrats on that.
And since you're responding on here, can you please give me 1 convincing reason why Mansour has paid over £1bn for a team he's been to see once?
Moot point. Your initial beef was that City were loaning players and they couldn't play against us...I simply pointed out that when the shoe was on the other foot, you lot didn't cry bout it like you are doing now.
