yeh we get new away and third kits every year and a new home kit every two years.


the new away kit is going to be grey with a silver and red trim. It says so on the official shop site "Colour: Solid Grey/Silver/Red"

Lucas has become a very important player for Liverpool.
The fact that he signed a new contract is excellent news for Liverpool.
If he would have left, that would have been the wrong message to the outside world. Well done Commoli.

we are poor, we have poor squad...everyone expecting us to see score lot´s of goals now we have Suarez and Carroll but the truth is we should be happy to be here where we are right now..

first of all, we have poor midfield...we had Spearing + Lucas as holding mids + Meireles and Kuyt as attacking... Meireles was ok, but that´s not enough, Kuyt was lost and Suarez was alone, trying but he can´t make it alone... Carroll was without any service, alone up front + with yellow...

we have no wings atm...no creative players except Suarez and Pacheco, who playes in Norwich, while we still have Joe Cole in the team ...

the defence is shit, the only player who played today was Skrtel, Carra is not good enough and the same Kyrgiakos... Wilson was ok but he´s not LB.

Man of the match is Reina.

all in all we need complet overhaul, at least 6 new playrs and 6 or more trash out of the club becouse we can forget to be back in top 4 after next season if we continue like this...

we have no width, no pace, no bench.

Roy didn´t beat us, we were poor + the referee was fucking joke, especialy linesman.

With Gerrard reported out for the season, Agger injured again, Johnson and Kelly the same... we are basicly fucked. I just wait for this season to end becouse it was to much to handle... as a supporter.

LIVERPOOL are on the brink of agreeing a pre-contract to sign Rennes star Sylvain Marveaux.

The 24-year-old left-sided midfielder is set to move on a free transfer this summer following talks with Kop director of football strategy Damien Comolli.

Marveaux (below) has previously been linked with MANCHESTER UNITED, CHELSEA, WEST HAM and NEWCASTLE.

The France Under-21 international admitted: “I am very close to reaching agreement with Liverpool about joining them next season.”

He has been ruled out of the rest of the French season and general manager Pierre Dreossi has admitted it is unlikely Marveaux will play for Rennes again.

Also on the Merseysiders’ list of possible targets are Seville wideman Diego Perotti and Hamburg’s Holland star Eljero Elia.

The La Liga club have received an enquiry from Liverpool about Perotti, 22, who can operate down either flank but prefers the left.

Argentina international Perotti is under contract until 2015 but could go for around £8million.

He was in the directors box before he got injured and apparently a deal was all but done then for him to join in January. Obviously his injury stopped that but the interest was still there.

He is a good player, I think he would be a good squad member and that will add depth to our squad. There is no way we are not signing this one, it has been talked since the arrival of Commoli that he is our player.
And about Perotti, would be an intereseting signing, is a player with a lot of potential, but it is hard to know how he could adapt to the Premier League.

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has had his season ended by a knee injury sustained in last weekend's defeat at West Brom.

The Denmark international was forced off in the first half with a tendon problem and, after assessment by the club's medical staff, the 26-year-old has been told he will be sidelined for two months.

"Daniel has a problem with the tendon behind his knee and won't be involved again this season," said Kenny Dalglish.

"He'll be out for a couple of months before he can start training."

Agger's last two seasons at the club have been blighted by injury and his latest set-back could not have come at a worse time with injury problems in defence mounting up for Dalglish, who also lost right-back Glen Johnson to a hamstring strain at The Hawthorns.

Johnson is expected to be out for a month, although no timescale has been put on his recovery, while it is anticipated that Martin Kelly – the player who displaced the England international from the right of defence – will be out for a similar amount of time after a recurrence of a hamstring problem.

Dalglish is still waiting for a prognosis on captain Steven Gerrard, who was due to return from a groin operation against West Brom only to sustain a similar but not identical injury in training on Friday.

The fact there has been no swift diagnosis of the problem raises fears the England midfielder's season could also be over.

"It's disappointing for the players because they want to play in every game," said Dalglish. "We're getting towards the end of the season but if you're injured you're injured.

"We feel for them but the most important people at the football club are the ones who are fit and able to play. We have to get on with what we've got."

There was some good news for Dalglish, though, after Fabio Aurelio – the first team's only specialist left-back – returned to training after a month out with a hamstring strain.

Midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is also back with the squad having made a successful comeback from a knee operation in February with an outing for the reserves this week.

Marveaux will 95% end up at Liverpool. It's been talked about for months. I wouldn't be surprised at all. Nothing's official yet but he's been set to join you guys for awhile.

As for Perotti and $8M I don't believe it! He'd worth double that at least and Sevilla get top dollar for their players especially one as young and promising as him. Not to mention, he's got much unfinished business left with Sevilla so they aren't prepared to let him go I think. Where as someone like Dani Alves had already helped the club much.

If you could get him for $8M, I'd bite their hand off for him! It'd be fantastic! Don't think you'll be that lucky tho.

Yep, but in their defense we have a midfield of Lucas, Spearing, Kuyt and Meireles. So no speed on the wings, and not enough invention in CM either. The team just can't keep compact and push high up (The Greek, Carra and Wilson are all slow) and the midfield doesn't have enough movement to push up between them and link with Suarez and Carrol. So the defenders just hit it long and hope Suarez can make something of the flick on.

There just isn't any balance atm. And with Agger joining Gerrard out for the rest of the season, and Johnson pretty much the same, any chance of Europe is gone now. Atleast for half the matches remaining Liverpool will be the underdogs anyway so can go more defensive.

It's a bit annoying for Kenny as he won't have much chance to do anything now with the squad left (tactically there aren't many options) and if he starts to blood some youngsters there is a good chance Liverpool will still drop down the table and finish in the middle of it.

You can't judge our team at this time, as Tik said, because injuries have forced our hand so much. We're basically playing a B team in effect, and then you've got Carroll who's still gaining match fitness and Suarez still adapting to the league.

The LeBron news is just crazy. I'm imagining it'll really help our US and Asian sales and sponsorship but it's just a bizarre combination!

Ay,

Thought the LeBron news (didn't know who he was) was a bit odd. But then again, it's innovative thinking and marketing that will hopefully make the difference for the club. Time will tell.

The marketing pictures should be great having LeBron with Spearing together!

thats bollocks mate.when carrol wasnt in team agaisnt united for instance,we were playing well.gerd is right,back to route one=carra hoofs it to carrol cos he'll score all the goals.absolute rubbish.kenny needs bollocks to drop him and now(carra).scary thing is skrtel is pickin up carra bad habit.its easy to say we have no choice when we lose.we always do,depends if the gaffer wants us to play the"liverpool way",not fat fuckin sam way

right, but player like Carroll needs assists and good delivery, he´s not technicaly a the same level than Suarez/Torres for example.. Compare how he played for England with Young and Johnson on wings, or any wingers..Currently there is not much use from him since he is isolated and our so called wingers are non existing.. against United we played with Gerrard and Johnson in the team + there was Aurelio in defence.. What is strainge for me to understand is fact, that we would expect Carroll to perform against the teams from bottom table, couse of his height and heading ability and that those teams defend more than attack...but this didn´t happend yet.. He is still new in the team, city etc... he clearly didn´t wanted to come so his mind is still in Newcastle imo... i think if we buy some quality wingers and chainge our style of play, we could get a lot of Carroll...but we need a new midfield.... without assist we can´t expect goals from Carroll..

I am a Spurs fan. As a Spurs fan i would prefer Spurs to play without Peter Crouch. Crouch is not a bad player, but the way Spurs play with him on the pitch is way too predictable.
I see something similar happening at Liverpool, now that Caroll is there.

LeBron is selling out again, and he will continue to sell his own over and over again. This guy calls himself a die-hard Yankee fan but he's going to bed with the enemy (as far as I know FSN owns Boston Red Sox, the main Yankees rival) to promote his brand. Despicable.

I just pray that Liverpool don't become a looser like LeFraud!
