or better said, if we could only play against Chelsea, United, City every week.. :/

our consistency is what makes diference, nothing else...it´s in their heads.

they can outplay big teams or win agains them, and they suffer against bottom table teams...if we manage to chainge this next season, we will be back in top 4.

I think the big thing you do well (at home in particular) is come out and press like maniacs for the first 45 minutes - not unlike Barca - and wrap the match up by halftime. Certainly when you've beaten United recently it's been like that, and was for City too.

Works fine when you can get the goals, but when teams soak up the pressure, you just can't maintain those levels all match, so second halves are typically poorer.

Also, do you consider Arsenal in that elite group of clubs oyu like to play? Please do. :)

For some reason Arsenal have become a bit of a bogey team for Liverpool, especially away. Can't remember the last decent result. (A 1-1 draw playing 10men for 45min is not good).

And they always seem to be there for the taking aswell.

it will be a match that could kill Arsenal season.. they will be under pressure, while us have nothing to loose...i predict draw but i think if we play like against City, we could win it..

As much as i like Liverpool, i prefer Arsenal to win that match, i still want Arsenal to become champions...

lol belive me i rather watch you win the league than United take their 19.th but if we look in the mirror, Arsenal had the bigest chance to overcome or being on the same position in table United are now..

i have to look at my club and i hope we win..

You still can win the title, it´s just United´s to loose..

Certainly a quandry for Liverpool fans.

Kill off any chance of Arsenal winning the league with a victory for your team, or maintain hopes that we won't surpass you in terms of titles won after so long?

it's gonna happen sooner or later so it makes no difference to me if it's this season, i'd much rather we beat Arsenal and went on to qualify for Europe thus having an extra little carrot to dangle in front of potential new players this summer and then catch up next year :)

well not realy, we are LFC, still the most succesfull club in England and i hope i don´t speak only for myself that i want us to win every game...regardles if it will affect United or any other team..

If United wins the 19.th title, they did great job, congrats...

but as Liverpool we have to look at ourselfs, to get back to top 4 as soon as possible.. with loosing to Arsenal it won´t happend...It might not happend this season at all..but let´s be honest...we were talking about relegation at start of the season..that´s gone now and we can focus on very bussy summer ahead...

It´s the same situation like 1995 with Kenny as Blackburn manager, if Liverpool played to loose against Blackburn that day, Blackburn would be champion and United not... We played to win and we won..

I don´t think Kenny would want us to loose against Arsenal.

loose is garments not fitted. Lose/losing is the word mate. At this point of the season everyone needs 3pts. Liverpool might lose out on league titles n FA Cup ,but no one can take their Europe titles "5" is a massive. That`s more than most clubs in the world. RM of 9 is unheard of and then the special Milan.

Mutd will still feel that burden of toppling Liverpool by all title ranks ;)

tbh United are not far away from making it 5 themselfs...but even after that, Liverpool have to look at theirselfs, Unied are doing great this 20 years, but LFC did great when United were not that good...it might repeat again or someone else will be top team..that´s life..

Today is 22. years since worse tragedy in football. Not my own but hope you like:

Its April 15th in the year 2011

Time to remember the 96 once again

Time to educate those who believe in the lies

Time to spread some more truth so that no one else dies

Then has blame layed upon them when they can't answer back

When they cant dispute lies the police claimed as facts

Its 22 years and still justice we seek

We chant and show banners week after week

But still there are those who say we were to blame

We apparantly turned up drunk late at this fateful game

Allegedly we pissed on and robbed from our dead

Them scousers caused trouble is what they all said

Little did they know the outrage that would cause

Or that other teams fans would ring out their applause

When our fans chant for justice when we're playin their side

Cos they all know it could have been their 96 fans that died

So for the 22st time, may you all rest in peace

And pray to God may these awful accusations please cease.​

R.I.P for the 96 who went to watch a football match 22 years ago and never returned home to their loved ones...

Hillsborough 15.04.1989 this day never to happen again and never to be forgotten!

I love that man. A true legend and a great great man.

Horrible day, always is. The memorial service is a brilliant way to keep the fight for justice alive, and the call for Kenny to be knighted is an amazing gesture.
